In this session, Clare puts her expertise on display, demonstrating the intricacies of intra-abdominal pressure and IAP assistance, becoming the corset or TRA (Transversus Abdominis) for her client.
Clare directs her fingers to the right pelvis, and the thumb towards the left pelvis, creating a sling effect. As her client breathes out, she utilizes her hands to cue IAP and for optimal spine stabilization.
The foundational elements of IAP and TRA play a pivotal role in maintaining stability, supporting the spine, and promoting proper movement patterns. Clare's expertise brings these principles to life, demonstrating their significance for a holistic approach to rehabilitation.

Unveiling the power of targeted stretches! π In our assessment, we identified tension from his lat to his lumbar fascia.
Our session began with quad rocking and child pose stretches with cups applied to this line of tension.
π§ββοΈ We then progressed to an advanced lat stretch using a doorway for a fantastic lat and Quadratus lumborum stretch.
