We had great fun showing our Aurora collection at Winstanley House for Leicester Fashion Week. Although Winstanley house isn’t far from my home, I’d never been there before and I enjoyed learning about the history of the house, formerly known as Braunstone Hall, and the important part it played in the Second World War. It was lovely chatting to other designers such as pedro @pedrobatimofficial and Janie and Roy @frocktalesltd and meeting our lovely models for the evening. It was also really nice to see my talented seamstress, Pauline @pauline.middo in the audience. Thanks Michelle! I feel like a chic boss in this gorgeous outfit from @antoniayorkclothing I’m wearing the Zoe Blouse and Riley Skirt. As much as I love wearing them together, they look great with pieces I already own. The blouse looks perfect with black pants and I love it with jeans and black booties. The skirt is fun with a tee, but also looks so good with a pullover sweater and boots. I also think the skirt would be great for pattern mixing. I’m off to see what I have in my closet! Do you like to mix patterns in your outfits?
