On Sunday, we will have one large gathering at 10AM. There are no normal service times. City Kids will be open. After service, we will all walk over to Morningside Park for a celebration!
City on a Hill will provide food and drinks, just bring a chair or blanket to sit on. There will be music, games, more worship and fellowship with everyone!
If you are in our congregation every week or have ever been a part of City on a Hill, we welcome you to join us and show our gratefulness to the our good Father. đ¤
See you Sunday at 10!
Join us tomorrow at our 8:30AM and 10:30AM services, and make sure to grab a baked good and make a donation to the City Youth! All proceeds go to their summer youth camp!
This Sunday our City Youth will be hosting a baked goods sale! This is an opportunity for the youth to raise money for their summer youth camp. You can help by choosing a baked good and making a donation. The funds they raise will aid them to go on a trip this summer to learn about the Lord, and participate in fellowship with other believers. This bake sale will be happening after both services this Sunday, and you can donate with cash or go to our website, cityonahillabq.com
Easter Sunday. What joy was felt today! We heard the beautiful grace we received through Jesusâ resurrection. We witnessed 6 baptisms, we worshipped together, we ate together, the kids hunted for eggs, and we enjoyed spending time with each other! Praise God for his faithful promises through Jesus Christ!
Jesus willingly bore our sin and shame so that we would have abundant life.
âLooking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.â Hebrews 12:2
On Easter Sunday, invite your friends & family and come celebrate the wonderful news that Jesus defeated sin, Satan, and death!!! Services are family style and are at our normal times of 8:30am & 10:30am. Please plan on staying after each service for food, an egg hunt for the kids and fellowship! After 8:30 we will have a continental breakfast and after 10:30 we will be having a cookout with burgers and hotdogs! Let us worship together our God of love and mercy. đ¤

On October 28th, from 3-6PM, we will be having our first FALL FEST & TRUNK or TREAT. We are planning on having trunks, games, food, music and great fellowship!
In order for this event to happen, WE NEED YOUR HELP!!! We need multiple volunteers to help make this a success. Here is how you can volunteer:
1. Decorate the trunk of your car for the Trunk or Treat! You can pick a theme or idea of your choice (please keep them kid friendly!) and convert your trunk into a cool scene. You can have a game or trivia questions to go with your trunk if you would like. You will also bring candy or small prizes or toys to pass out to the children. There are plenty of ideas on Pinterest or Google if you need some inspiration!
2. Create a carnival type game to be played during the Fall Fest. This game will need to be manned throughout the afternoon by you and your group. Kids love games so any game that is appealing to children of various ages would be great! Please have candy or prizes to pass out after each kid tries the game.
3. Help with set up and/or tear down. We also need volunteers to help throughout the duration of the Fall Fest as needed.
4. Donate baked goods for the Cake Walk. Baked goods can include cakes, cupcakes, cookies, muffins, pies, etc. These may be homemade or store bought. Please make sure the baked good are wrapped and ready for a winner to grab and take home with them.
This is a great opportunity to serve our community in a fun way! For the trunks and games, feel free to team up with another family or work with your community group! We are hoping for 20 trunks and 10 games for our Fall Fest.
If you would like to sign up to volunteer, please head over to our Events Page on our website.
We are asking to let us know by October 22nd if you can participate. If you have any questions about this event, please email us at [email protected].
We are looking forward to this 'spooktacular' afternoon with you!
It all starts with Jesus
This is the prayer and heart of North Church: we pray that Jesus' glory will grow in Albuquerque and beyond as we live out the gospel for the good of our neighbors and the nations.
This is a big and bold prayer. It most plainly means that we live to experience Jesus being first, or preeminent, in everything we are and everything we do everywhere we go. This means that every minute of every day in every place affords us the opportunity to spread the name of Jesus as we live for his glory.
We want to know him as first in our church and over every square inch of all creation. He doesnât exist for us. Instead, we exist for him. And this reality gives every dimension of our lives meaning and purpose.
