Easter Sunday. What joy was felt today! We heard the beautiful grace we received through Jesus’ resurrection. We witnessed 6 baptisms, we worshipped together, we ate together, the kids hunted for eggs, and we enjoyed spending time with each other! Yesterday we launched our First Light Refresh! An update on, and invitation toward participation in our First Light Generosity Endeavor! On April 10th you will have the opportunity to re-commit, increase your giving, or jump into the First Light Endeavor. Sometime last night, our trailer with all the audio/visual equipment we use for our services at the Lobo Theatre was stolen! We have filed a police report and are praying for the people who stole it. Please join with us in praying that the Lord's grace would change the hearts of the thieves and that if we can salvage any gear the Lord would help us do so. Last week we were featured on KRQE, one of the local news stations here in Albuqurque. They chronicled some of the history of the building that we are renovating to make into our permanent home. If you don't know much about the building or our plans for it then this is a great little story for you to get caught up on it. #cityonahillabq #firstlight

Progress is being made daily at the new building on Silver. Drywall is going up, bathrooms are being fished, new electrical cable is being installed, and so much more. Join us after service on October 17th for a tour of the new space as we look to begin our gatherings there early in the new year. #cityonahillabq #firstlight

The future kids spaces downstairs sure do look better with some light coming in. Might need some windows before we hold City Kids ministry down there though. #cityonahillabq

To the untrained eye this is just a hole in the floor. But, it is actually the future home of a lift which will make our whole building accessible to people with special needs and mobility challenges. One of the joys of designing how this new building will work is thinking and being intentional about reaching and serving the special needs community in our city. #firstlight #cityonahillabq

Building Update: The framing for our future City Kid's space/Offices are up while fire damage repair continues in other parts of the building. Thank you City on a Hill for your continual prayers and financial support towards our church and the mission we have to bring the light of the gospel to our city, state, nation, and world!
