So this is 50 ❤️❤️ (Late post)
When thinking back on how my 50th birthday would be, I expected something quite different.
I knew that I’d be surrounded by the people I loved, my family and friends and definitely music and cake🎂🎉
I didn’t expect to be in the midst of a pandemic, concerned about being around my family and friends or wondering if I’d even be able to celebrate.
Feeling blessed and ever grateful to be able to spend this milestone with the most important people in my life, to be able to dance (first weekend dancing was allowed) and have my cake and eat it too ❤️💋❤️💋
Thank you for the people that have always been there for me through thick and thin and new experiences and love that have been shared with me that’s helped me through these crazy times 🙏🏼❤️

Can not believe it’s September 1st already! Summer is almost over 😢
We all know that sinking feeling that sets in when the first day of September comes and realize summer's end coming closer. It's important not to let this feeling overwhelm us or send us into stillness.
This is the time to make sure that we catch up with our intent, make the most of what's left of the season -- and remember that it isn't over yet.
Here's how to cure the end-of-summer blues:
1) Stay positive: Sunmer time blues is a REAL THING, dreading the summer to end. September also brings a "new year" feeling, one that we can use as MOTIVATION to make the most of this season -- and the next, too! If you look at it this way, summer's end gives us the energy to propel into fall.
2) Remember that there's still time - It’s easy to feel like the season is already over, when thoughts of school is on the horizon, there’s still the end of the month!
3) Be specific about what you want - The best way to get what you want is to know what you want. Consider the things you intended to achieve this summer and determine which of the remaining ones you truly want or that mean the most to you.
4) Take action! - Instead of letting go of our intentions for the season, think of steps you can take towards actualizing your goals. Be positive -- but also realistic. Pick the top three items from your summer to-do list that will make you the happiest and focus your energy on achieving those goals, even in small ways.
.
There is a cure for the end-of-summer blues! By focusing on what we want to achieve and taking actual steps to reach our goals, we can make the most of the waning season and enjoy the rest of the summer and look forward to the fall 🍂🍁
The last few weeks has been difficult and somber for so many people. A lot of hearts broken and devastated from the loss of loved ones.
I want to take the pain and sadness from them but alas, I can not and so I offer my kindness, support and attention and it makes me feel that I’ve helped them through it, somehow.
My eyes are open to how precious each moment is and not to throw away the time we can spend with our loved ones ❤️❤️

Thankful Sunday ❤️

Happy Monday and first week of the month of August!
Can’t believe it’s already August and half way through the summer! Next thing you know it’s Thanksgiving then Halloween, then Christmas, all the holidays that give us a chance to be with family but also all the treats that have tons of sugar and salt!!
Well, one thing to remember is starting now on your healthy journey by feeding yourself with the food that will provide an abundance of vitamins and nutrients will build healthy habits that allows you to have some of the treats but to have control to know when a little is enough.
It may also help you manage your weight and have more energy. After a while, if you stick with these changes, they may become part of your daily routine.
This week has been very difficult to keep up with the workouts 😞
My second week went by very well, with each day done, late in the evenings and a couple of times in the morning to make up for missed days, but it was done! This week, not so much!!
I got my second dose of vaccination 5 days ago and for the next 3 days I was dead to the world, well at least to my workouts 😣 My right arm could not lift up 2 lbs if my life depended on it!
I’m telling you this not because I’m making excuses but to let you know that I will make up for the missed days and keep going!
On a more positive note, I’m fully vaccinated 🥳👏🏼😷💉
Focus on small steps to help you get started, since it’s not so overwhelming. Then, momentum takes over and it’s easier to continue.
Even when you don't know which step to take next, don't worry, you’ll get there.
My morning routine is to have my protein and omega 3 filled bowl of goodness 😋😛
Having a healthy breakfast each morning sets your metabolism and you’re more likely to make healthy choices throughout the day.
Started off this Saturday morning with an invigorating all body workout a change from my usual evening workouts, since I was so burnt last night, I made up for it this morning.
Working out in the morning or at night, what is better? Does it make a difference?
Morning exercise benefits, on an empty stomach -- in the "fasted state" -- is proven to burn more fat than exercising after a meal. It may boost your mood throughout the day and can make you more productive.
An evening workout, on the other hand, uses less oxygen, making workouts more efficient and improving athletic performance. Your body is warmed up already from the day and can relieve the day’s stress.
The best time to work out is whenever you can. We don't all have schedules that allow for a 90-minute workout, green smoothies with collagen, unfortunately.
If your only time of day to exercise is before work, then morning is best. If you have busy evenings, there's a good chance you won't ever get to it.
Same, if you can only fit in 20 minutes of exercise into your day right before you get ready for bed, that's the best time to work out.
Both morning and evening exercise have their pros and cons, but consistency is what counts, so the best-best time of day to exercise is the time you can stick with for days, weeks and months -- it's more about how you feel when exercising and how exercise fits into your daily schedule.
The best time to exercise is whenever you can 💪🏼👏🏼
Monday Motivation!! Ok, here we go!!
After completing my last exercise program, then taking a few months off of structured workouts and meal plans, I needed to get back on track with my nutrition and exercise!
Completely off my meal plan, McD’s breakfast at least 2 x a week and snacks every other day, I had to change bad habits😞
First day completed of new program, it was a late night one but got it done, 3 weeks long, 25-35 mins a day for 21 days, this will spring me forward back to better habits 👏🏼🙌🏼 They say it takes 21 days to form a new habit 😀
Starting back again is always difficult to do in the beginning but once you decide that you’re going to do it, make a plan and commit to it, it gets easier day by day, especially when you realize how far you’ve gone ❤️

An early morning picture with my girl dropping her off at work ❤️❤️
Any chance to spend with my girl is cherished. We’ve both been so busy and the only time we see each other is the quick chats at home and then dashing off to work or errands or when I can drop her off at work and we have our chats in the car ❤️🥰
Wish we could spend more time together 😢 I think it’s time for a little girl time ❤️❤️

Happy Friday!!
Grateful to have another Friday and the weekend is here!
Thankful Sunday 🙏🏼❤️
It’s been about a year since I’ve travelled out of the city over night and let me tell you, it’s been a long time coming.
Was dreading the rain but thankfully it barely rained and had an amazing, beautiful sunny day Saturday☀️😎
It was a fun, amazing time catching up with friends and being out in nature, roughing it we were, but embracing every moment ❤️🙏🏼

Love my little garden 🍅🌶 🌿 🥬🥕
I’ve always wanted to start a garden but thought it was too much work and always put it off and last year since covid started thought I’d be able to start since isolation and all but didn’t get to it.
This year, I made sure that I started early and had all the supplies needed, and made sure it was a nice starter size ☺️😆
It’s a small garden and have a few pots with veggies and herbs but so happy that I finally started. Enjoyed my home grown grape tomatoes, so sweet!

Happy Friday! Feeling grateful today and counting my blessings 🙏🏼❤️
It’s been exactly a year since I made the decision to move myself and my kids in the middle of a pandemic and move into a home that we made into a comfortable and happy place ❤️❤️
Grateful that the graces of god has allowed me to be able to maintain all the expenses that I was so fearful I couldn’t afford on my own 🙏🏼🙏🏼 We celebrated with some Max’s pinoy food 😋

It may be another start to the week of uncertain days but it’s a beautiful day..sunny and warm for the next few days 😃☀️😎
Making sure that I start the week right with some wholesome super foods 🥑🥬🍅

Second year we can just look back to past memories of fun times with friends and green beer 🍺 🍀
A throw back from two years ago ❤️❤️

Wishing all the strong and beautiful women out there and especially the women in my life that have been there sharing the laughters and the tears, who’ve given me strength and compassion, a very Happy Women’s day ❤️❤️❤️
The Sunday night blues are here again 😞
It’s very easy to fall into a sadness on Sunday night. It’s almost like mourning the weekend gone by.
Most of us dread Mondays; back to the grind; office, gym, cooking, etc. There’s a lot to get done and a whole five days of work ahead of us.
But instead of wasting the last moments of my weekend being sad, I instead try to reflect back on everything for which I am grateful.
There are so many small things I can do on Sunday that will not only make me happy in the moment but will also ease the burden of the work week ahead.
So as I set my Monday morning alarm, I reflect on all the little things that I am thankful for.
✨ A new week to start a new project or finish up a current one
✨The amount of sleep I caught up on
✨Reflecting back on time spent with my kids
✨Relived to have errands completed
✨Another day closer to getting everyone vaccinated and going to pre-covid days 🥳
✨And anther day closer to the next weekend 😆
“A Sunday well spent brings a week of content.”
Transformation Tuesday ❤️
Starting off right on this new month and week 🍇🍎🥦🥬
The last few weeks, months, dang, year..I’ve been very slack on what I’ve been eating and exercise. My routine has drastically changed!
The one thing that always brought me back to focus and commitment is doing a challenge! So, here we go, 2 weeks clean eating to get back some wholesome goodness in my body and soul🙏🏼❤️
Throwback to the good ol’ days! Fabulous birthday it was ❤️❤️
Happy Family day❤️
