Our Newest seasonal, flavor 📣

Pomegranate Molasses also known as Robeh Anar in Farsi (anar which means pomegranate).

Story time ⬇️

In the Persian culture, pomegranates represent health, luck, prosperity and abundance.

This complex, and rich molasses recipe is made by de-seeding, juicing the arils and cooking the juice down to make a concentrated syrup; which has been used for thousands of years primarily in Persian and Middle Eastern cooking in stews to sweet dishes.

Made with our custom, aged yogurt base, and fresh pomegranates.

Happy National Spumoni Day 🎉🍨

To celebrate we have our Spumoni gelato back on display this week. Made with our version which is Sicilian pistachio, Strawberry gelato and Milk Chocolate.

Did you know Spumoni originated in Naples, Italy 🇮🇹 which was introduced to the U.S. circa 1890.

Traditionally made with Amarena cherry, Sicilian pistachio and chocolate with some candied nuts and fruits in some variations.

Spumoni comes from the Italian word Spumone which means foam.

Neapolitan ice cream originated from Naples and the Spumoni flavor as well- which is a more Americanized version of Spumoni consisting of Strawberry, Chocolate and Vanilla.

📣 We are so grateful to our franchisees and proud to announce our First Franchise location and expansion into Cypress, TX !! 🍨

Our new shop, located at 20711 Tuckerton Rd, is set to bring a delicious array of flavors and desserts to the heart of Cypress. This will be Sweet Cup’s first franchise location.

“We are incredibly excited to bring SweetCup to Cypress,” said Jasmine Chida, owner of Sweet Cup. “Our goal has always been to create a welcoming space where families and friends can come together to enjoy our unique flavors that represents Houston’s diverse culinary scene. I’m grateful to be partnering with our first franchisees that actually live in Cypress and believe in our product and wanted to share something unique with this special community. Cypress is a wonderful community, and we can’t wait to become a part of it.”

The new location will feature 48 flavors, including gelato, sorbet, gelato custard, and frozen yogurt, rotating based on the season and customer requests. Classic favorites such as Stracciatella, Pistachio, and Italian Wedding Cake will be available alongside innovative offerings such as Vanilla Bean Tres Leches, Rose Milk, and 713 that are sure to delight every palate. Additionally, the shop will offer house-made toppings.
