The eggplant is giving us strong Beetlejuice vibes! We just picked them today, come and grab some for $1 each, they’re over a pound per eggplant!

If you don’t like eggplant because it’s too bitter, you need to try our green eggplant! There is low to no bitterness, even without salting it before preparing it.

The dark, dark purple eggplant is Mitoyo eggplant, a Japanese variety that is great stir fried like long eggplant in Asian dishes.

You may ask, ”why is there a white powder on the tomatoes?”

That’s a great question! It’s a certified organic protectant powder that we spray on our plants to keep them cool and protected from bugs. It’s a modified kaolin clay, which is food safe, and in fact is the ingredient in clay mud masks!

We rinse our produce before putting it on the stand, but it doesn’t all wash off because it’s designed to withstand rain. We don’t want to aggressively wash our tomatoes because then we will bruise them.

Just rinse under running water and it will come off!
