We’ve seen so MANY bees this spring! Honey bees, carpenter bees, bumble, mason, and wasps (not bees, but they ALSO pollinate!)! This is a carpenter bee hanging out on an arugula plant that has gone to flower. FYI, Arugula flowers smell amazing! Because we are a chemical pesticide-free farm, we attribute our abundance of bees and other buddies to a healthy ecosystem. We also wait to mow and till to give our friends a chance to flourish and establish their homes. #bees #beesofinstagram #pesticidefree #smallfarm

We recently switched to @kalmbach_feeds Henhouse Reserve, and have noticed a big difference in our eggs’ quality, but most importantly, our hens LOVE it! They are obsessed with it and TBH I don’t blame them, it looks good enough for me to snack on! But I won’t, I won’t. I promise. #chickensofinstagram #farmlife
