POLL: As I finish up the research for my book that will come out this Summer, I just need to know if you reallllllly want me to include the topics that just might hurt your feelings when it comes to nutrition norms. Personally, I believe it's due diligence as a credentialed registered dietitian to update you on the things that "everybody does so it can't be that bad" (that really are that bad).

So, what's your vote: A) Don't tell me: ignorance is bliss and I'd rather just believe everything that the vendors that are benefitting {$$$} from my ignorance say, OR B) Let's hear it. Facts are facts.

BTW, if you know me you know I don't like drama, so if I'm going to bother to share hard news, it's for the sake of truth. 💣

No, you don’t have to do low fat or fat free dairy, but in order to keep my macronutrients in balance, I do because I like nuts and avocado, etc.

Sohailla Digsby is a registered dietitian, ACE-certified fitness pro, author and international speaker. Whether she’s writing, presenting at conventions around the country, teaching fitness classes, or developing wellness programs, Sohailla loves to motivate people to be their personal best. She is passionate about keeping her wellness message balanced and fun, knowing that after the hype of the fads fade, people simply need practical steps to build a healthy foundation that will last.

Sohailla’s 2 decades in the wellness and fitness space have her brimming with relevant, practical content for gym-regulars, fitness pros and registered dietitians. She trains facilitators to launch her 8-week Best Body Countdown in their centers around the US, runs a year-round membership site via Facebook for those who want to maintain lifestyle change (RESOLVE), writes challenges and programs for an app, and developed a 6-month course for RD-authors where she coaches them from the starting point of their book idea to self-publishing successfully.

She and her husband of 21+ years also direct a busy household of three young world-changers in Evans, Georgia.

Sohailla is the recipient of several awards, including the 2018 Alumni of the Year award from Augusta University’s Dietetic Internship, 2016 SCW Presenter of the Year Award, and the Georgia Academy’s Distinguished Service in Media Award in 2014.
