🇮🇲NEW POTS ALERT!!!🤗🇮🇲 🇮🇲DOUGLAS🇮🇲 🇮🇲Available at Grenaby Studios Open Studios December 10th I can’t believe that I have never made a Douglas pot in all the years of making my Isle of Man Story pots! So here it is!!! Douglas (and other towns) will be available at the Open Studios on Sunday 10th December at Grenaby Artist Studios

Somehow a little bit more poignant after yesterday’s news of the preferred site being chosen.💨 🇮🇲NEARLY THERE💨💨💨🇮🇲 🇮🇲WIND TURBINE POT…🇮🇲 Well!! The base is almost finished, now I just need to get it back to Grenaby to introduce it to it’s wind turbine lid……and the birds that will be flying out from the pot and exiting the area😳.

I’ve not been wasting my time while I’m away from Grenaby Studios and have continued making lots of pots….. Today I’ve just finished making a lovely pot for Truly Scrumptious, a fab food truck that sells yummy waffles and desserts, they do loads of events in the London area and will now have a very special dispenser for all their napkins and condiments🤗. It’s been lovely watching all the trees surrounding my studio begin to show signs of Spring - such a lovely time of year😍

🇮🇲🐟A HERRING FOR YOUR HOME🐟🇮🇲 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Further to the messages I have had about the herrings for the Bayr Ny Skeddan (the Herring Way) I thought I’d experiment with making some for the home… with a little wire loop on the back for easy hanging…. Further to the fabulous feedback I have had, I am TOTALLY thrilled to be able to offer a ’Make your own Personalised Pet Bowl’ workshop on Saturday 21st May. The cost would be £99 to include all materials and firing and copious cups of coffee and biscuits☕️🍪. We will be making unique embellished personalised bowls for your furry friends. This workshop would suit any aspiring potters from beginners to expert!!!! (Famous last words😂) I will lead you carefully through the process and will navigate some quite tricky procedures to make sure you create some wonderful masterpieces! As my studio is quite small the places will initially be limited to just 6 people so there will be loads of personal tuition. If there are more than six people interested I will be very happy to run alternative dates too, and am quite happy to also do them midweek. Just let me know. Due to the size of my studio, any groups would be very small - I envisage the pet bowl workshop would be for four hours and be £99 including all materials, glaze and firings. More intricate workshops would be priced accordingly. Just hope all the holes are in the right place for the clock and pendulum😳.
