Lemon Peel tincture. The benefits of consuming Lemon peel are in the high nutritive content (especially ascorbic acid) that helps to build the body's immune system and ward off infection, lowers cholesterol, and treats cataracts. These nutrients also promote nail growth, improve circulation, cleanse the liver, are helpful in dealing with ear infections, capillary fragility, muscular contractions and varicose veins. Lemon peel is also great for acne and pimples, wrinkles and dark spots, because of it contains antioxidants that can help to detoxify the skin. It is also an exceptional remedy for oral health and hygiene. It is considered to be antimicrobial and may help to ward off bacterial infections and fungi. Its digestive qualities help to ease indigestion, colic, and nausea, and may also halt vomiting. Lemon peel has been shown to aid in the prevention of osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis, and polyarthritis.

Lemon Peel is highly nutritional with important minerals and vitamins, 5 to 10 times more than lemon juice. They are also an excellent source of fiber, magnesium, potassium, folate, calcium and beta-carotene. It contains citric bioflavonoids that are very powerful for reducing levels of oxidative stress. This portion of the lemon is also considered to aid in the eradication of toxic elements that can lead to cancer. In fact, they have been shown to prevent various types of cancer, including skin cancer, breast cancer, and colon cancer. Lemons are very alkalizing, and making your body less acidic may help to prevent disease.

Lemon peels contain salvestrol Q40 and limonene, both of which are shown to be a blessing to many who are suffering from high cholesterol and heart issues. The vitamin C and vitamin P contained in the peels help to clear up blood vessels, which may be helpful in relieving the discomforts of phlebitis, heart disease, and high blood pressure. And it is beneficial in improving peripheral circulation that helps to stimulate blood flow to the hands and feet, which can be of great relief to older people with poor circulation.

Liquid gold

With hubby sick, I’m doing what I can to stop myself from getting sick as well !!

A tea made from fresh ginger and turmeric, some raw honey and 2 tablespoons of fire cider topped with a slice of Orange from our garden.

The fire cider hasn’t been going long enough, but it already tastes delicious so I couldn’t help myself 😉

And no, it’s not covid…. Just a cold ….. remember those ?

The " Change of Seasons" is upon us ! In the blink of an eye, the long hot days fade away leaving cool sunny days and chilly nights.
This is when people usually start to get the dreaded cold and flu symptoms. Sore throats can be a real pain in the neck 😉 but here is a recipe for a tonic that you can make at home that can help soothe that scratchy, firey throat.

Sore Throat Tonic
This folk remedy, with the addition of ginger and turmeric, is certainly a favorite home remedy. Sip it, gargle it, and wait for the fiery pain to subside!

Ingredients
1/8 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
1/8 teaspoon ground turmeric
2 teaspoons raw apple cider vinegar
2 teaspoons raw honey
2-3 slices ground ginger fresh
1 cup pure water

Instructions
Boil water, then turn off heat.
Add the mixture of cayenne, turmeric and ginger to the pot.
Cover (you don't want the goodness evaporating) and let steep for at least 5 minutes.
Stir in the apple cider vinegar and honey
Transfer to a mug.
Stir and sip.

Holding it close to your face between sips allows you to inhale the steamy goodness as well.

What is the difference between:

NutraColl Joint Health
NutraColl Beauty
and Peptipro ?

1 - There are some key differences in the specifications of molecular weight in all of the collagen (i.e Nutracoll Joint Health/Beauty is a lower average molecular weight than Peptipro).

2 - During the manufacturing process, different enzymes are used to hydrolyse the proteins, these enzymes cleave the proteins at specific amino acid sequences. So there are different chains in the Nutracoll Joint & Peptipro products.

Essentially, the enzymes for Nutracoll Joint Health, separates different amino acids than that of the NutraColl Beauty product and Peptipro.

Whilst they all use a similar base ingredient, the products have been optimised for specific performance.
