I started this business to support women. To help them heal their skin with a safe, holistic approach that focuses on overall wellness. Not just using non-toxic ingredients to nourish skin but also incorporating aromatherapy blends for stress relief, better sleep, and uplifted moods.

The EWG (Environmental Working Group) specializes in researching toxins so we can make informed decisions about the products and ingredients we use.

Each and every ingredient I use in Urban Pulse formulations is run through this database and researched in depth to ensure the safety of our products.

✨ Acne treatments don't have to be harsh and drying and irritating to the skin. We can have the best of both worlds by treating our acne and unclogging pores while still being gentle to our skin barrier.

Drying out the skin and using harsh treatments can damage our skin barrier and cause skin sensitivities or irritations. A damaged skin barrier is only going to result in more breakouts in the long run.

How are you taking care of yourself in this busy season of life? There are a few key things I work into my routine around the holidays

1) I get super intentional about the meals I cook at home because let's be honest.. I'm not passing up on any of the pie or fancy drinks 🤣 and this isn't about weight necessarily. Fueling my body with nutrients and whole foods helps my energy levels and capacity to tackle the day ahead.

2) family time is prioritized 💕 it never fails that I have to pull some late nights and super early mornings this time of year so being able to sit down and enjoy some quality time helps me to shake stress off and leave work in the studio.

3) and lastly I make sure to get some "me time" ✨ to relax a bit and reset mentally before heading back into the chaos of the holiday season. This is a big one and I hope you're taking some time to check in with yourself as well.
