I love the hazy pastel tones of March (when it’s not raining) 🌞 this is ‘Pen y Crug in March’ 10”x8”

‘Pen Cerrig-calch in Indigo’🌞

Be kind to yourself, and do what makes you happy 🌞❄️

On days like these there’s no chance of getting out to paint. I’ve picked daffodils from my garden to bring Spring into the house and got some painting done in my cosy studio.

Windy, sunny, and cold. The light was beautiful and a passing shower of icy rain left interesting textures in my painted clouds.

Spent a glorious afternoon on the hill before the rain (or sleet) came in, freezing but wrapped up well and totally lost in the paint!

Making the most of the blue sky and roaming the mountaintops making ink drawings, gathering all the colours in my mind. Always awestruck in the mountains 🌞❄️

Merry Christmas everybody 🎄❄️✨ things are winding down in the studio for my Christmas break. Thank you so much to everybody who bought something from me this year, big or small, and for supporting my work here on social media 🧡 it’s developing so much so it means a lot that you’re sticking around, and it’s particularly encouraging when I get lovely messages and comments about the direction my work is going in. Thank you, and here’s to further development! I will probably write a little more about this in my December newsletter which I’ll send out before the end of the month (sign up via my website). A wonderful Christmas and an absolutely lovely new year to you ☺️
