Rest is powerful
Something truly powerful happens when we stop actively trying, pushing, performing, and working. Chemicals release. Muscles repair. Ideas form. Things rearrange and look calmer, more clear.
But only when we stop, let go of doing, let go of control control, and make space.
Only when we rest.
We all come by our need for rest honestly. We all REQUIRE it. There’s a difference between “require” and “deserve.” You don’t have to work in order to deserve rest. In fact, you need to rest in order to work - or play - or do anything else.
So, make some time for rest. Not just because you deserve it, which you do. But because you NEED it.
