Turns out after years of many diagnosis', what I actually have is LYME+ 3 other forms of vector borne illness. Something many of us know nothing about, including DOCTORS!
It also just so happens that these PARASITES can mimic pretty much ANY disease. So, while doctors wanted to suppress my immune system for my “auto immune condition” - ANKYLOSING SPONDYLITIS - they were really just creating a better breading ground for these spiral-shaped bacteria to burrow.
Diagnosis and treatment have been a NIGHTMARE. We need AWARENESS as we are all at risk.
New treatment focuses on getting rid of them and I am FINALLY seeing progress. By the grace of GOD I am still here. Perhaps with a new purpose…. stay tuned, this should get interesting.

If you are lucky enough to know my husband you know what an incredible person he is. He is the best decision I ever made and I am so grateful to have such an amazing partner to go thru and build a life with. We don’t post a lot of us together because we like to protect it, but I’m gonna be taking a social media break to focus on my health for a bit and wanted to give praise to him because he deserves it. I’m in good hands and we got a lot more to look forward to ♥️

Golden hour with my girl ✨👯♀️💕
She will be one year this week and everything about my life has changed since her birth. Being a girl mom and family of four is way different but also, the pregnancy triggered a genetic reaction that caused the rare uterine cancer I had removed (PSTT) and now an autoimmune disease called ANKYLOSING SPONDYLITIS (AS). I never heard of it before but after nearly a year of suffering I finally got the right diagnosis from my rheumatologist and it is 💯 spot on with everything I’ve been experiencing. (Originally diagnosed as rheumatoid arthritis thru primary and ortho).
Basically my spine is being attacked by my own body and wants to make the vertebrae fuse together, aka bamboo spine. I’ve finally accepted that no matter how hard I try to do things holistically to stop the inflammation, the condition is out of my control and I am going to have to start injecting myself with meds once a week. Luckily, I do not have permanent damage yet so this will stop the disease from progressing 🙏🏻
It’s been a very hard road since this pandemic began. Losing my business just before her birth (which has actually been a huge blessing in a sh*tty disguise) and caring for my two small children while suffering thru one serious health issue after the other has been extremely difficult to deal with. But the birth of this girl was meant to be and has added so much joy to our lives, she is a beautiful funny little song bird and we are so blessed to have our family complete ♥️🌈 I would die for her and I certainly intend to live for her ⚔️
Ps. EXERCISE (as always) has proved to be the BEST MEDICINE when it comes to easing the pain of this condition. Movement is key in something like this so that the spine does not lose flexibility. If you have please reach out, I could use a bud like you 💪

Spent a lot of time feeling lost this past year, just going thru storm after storm. But I always believe when you are pulled back in life it is to launch you forward. You have to visualize those rainbows and rewards coming to you.
Traveling as a coach for Spartan is one of those🌈 I’ve been part of the coaching team since 2013 and had the opportunity to work in some amazing places I prob wouldn’t have visited otherwise. So grateful to be back out here, taking advantage of my health and being able to go full Coach Casey “baboon” mode 🐒 doing exactly what I am meant to be doing ♥️🙏🏻

Everyday I work hard to combat inflammation in my body. I’ve pretty much stopped drinking alcohol and barely even enjoy indulging in crap foods because my body has such a reaction it’s hardly worth it. I treat my body with more care and respect than ever. And that’s what I want to see from you. Seek to feel, function, and perform at YOUR BEST! By doing everything you can to learn about and take care of YOUR BODY💪💥
Since July 2020 this body has been
- thru labor and delivery 🤰
- diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis 🙄
- operated on to remove female reproductive organs 💪
- placed on synthetic hormones for the next 10 years to avoid menopause 😳
- diagnosed with a rare cancer in my uterus 🤯
- operated on again to remove lymph nodes in groin 😒
- cleared cancer free 🙏🏻🙌
- back to racing and podiumed in both 😤🐉 🔥

Miami Dade firefighter, paramedic, police officer, and now officially one of the first ever (and very few) Special Response Team Tactical Medics 👏 👏 👏
When chaos happens, first responders are the ones to run toward it, regardless if we are in a hurricane or a pandemic. Luigi has been working hard in silence - because that’s the kind of guy he is - to advance his career where he will now be a part of the SRT (SWAT) Team to provide emergency medical care in the most dangerous situations. We are so proud of him completing swat school and police academy this past year despite so many challenges. Congrats to these four guys for making it thru the arduous training 🙌😎
Thank you to all our first responders for being brave enough to face horrifying situations we can’t even imagine just so the rest of us can sleep peacefully. Long life to those who dare ⚔️

2 must be my lucky number 🍀 This year started off with two trips to the operating table and now two trips to the podium in the #2 spot 🤠
Two main reasons:

I’ve also faced my risk for cancer twice in my life undergoing both a prophylactic mastectomy and a total hysterectomy. If I had not dealt with my BRCA2 gene mutation we would have never found the rare cancer that was in my uterus when I was just 5 months postpartum. .. and I got two super cute happy lil babies that light up my life everyday 🥰
10 years ago doing some fitness modeling in infomercials for products that were never actually released in the US 😂 would definitely not recommend these products but the chance to work with fitness idol OG, Denise Austin, was a dream come true! I grew up watching her do this and to be next to her was 🤩🤩🤩 she is just as lovely a woman in person!
Worth noting, while I was hired to look the part, I was far from it. I was actually malnourished, dehydrated, and completely over trained to get to this aesthetic. I was also a hungry, miserable bitch who couldn’t enjoy life because I was in an obsessive cycle and I completely sacrificed performance for it. After working on 3 products I decided to never do it again. A reminder to everyone that the mainstream fitness industry is not what it appears to be. Try to focus your goals on function/performance over appearance so you don’t sacrifice your mental health in the process. Stay happy and healthy friends! 🤸♀️

Today was was like having explosive diarrhea of the heart. Just last month I was locked in mental warfare thinking I still had cancer in my body.
