Here's a little bit about Danielle's journey so far⬇️⬇️⬇️
Well, where do I start I don't know who the person on the left is but I do know the person on the right is a happier healthier motivated person.
Back in September 2021 I was in a very dark place for so many reasons, I tried other programmes before but A+ is the one programme I have stuck with for many reasons.
I am now down 7kg and down 2 dress sizes, I know I can do alot more and with the great help of A+ and especially my coach Cormac who has really helped me pick myself back up when I needed it the most I am absolutely determined to get to where I want to be.
There has been many ups and downs but the tools and information A+ provide us with is absolutely amazing and you might have a bad day or a bad week but you pick yourself back up and get back to it.
Since I joined back up last year I am now a happier and healthier person mentally and physically 🤗💪
I am so looking forward to more progress and I know I will get there with the amazing help and support from the A+ community 😀

"I had tried every slimming club and group out there that worked for awhile but in the long term they just didn't fit into my life. After looking at A+ Fitness for awhile and seeing the results other people were getting I wondered would this programme suit me? I had an initial conversation with Ashley and I could tell straight away that this programme was for me and it just didn't focus on losing weight but also on getting fit and overall wellness.
At no stage did I feel like I was on this journey alone, the support, advice, and motivation you receive from the coaches is second to none not to mention the camaraderie from the other members of the programme. There is always someone there to give you that extra push should you need it. This programme has changed my attitude towards nutrition and fitness which I know will be with me for the long run. Here's a little bit about Sarahs journey to date⬇️⬇️⬇️
I initially joined the 10 week programme with A+Fitness signature programme to lose weight and get physically fitter way back in 2021. Pre-covid I was training for the Cork City half marathon and nailing it but covid restrictions derailed me completely. I was using food when I was sad and happy in equal measure as a crutch. I'm certainly not your perfect poster woman in regards to transformation posts but Danny stuck with me and could see that I had it in me to get my headspace right. Without the support of the coaches, group, classes and A+family I never would have gone on to lose 2 stone and part take in one of the most rewarding weekends of my life in the Fota survival challenge for the Mercy Cancer Care Unit. I would never have had the confidence in myself and my physical ability without Danny, Ashley, Cormac and Zico backing it up. I love food but it's not a controlling factor in my lifestyle. I go out, eat and drink, I get my steps and workouts in and I do that daily. Simple when you have the support to excel.

Before we sing Yvonne's praises we just want to say that we only played a tiny part in her health & fitness journey. She's been making progress before us and I'm sure she will continue on doing so long after🤝

Back in April 2022 I decided to call Ashley about the programme, the previous November I contacted Ashley saying I had 3 stone to lose, I lost 1 stone myself before Christmas but felt I needed more accountability and I knew this would work for me. My main goal was that in April 2023 I hit 50 and wanted to just get the weight off. So that is where it began. I loved the accountability it offers and gave it my all. I did the 1st 10 weeks and had lost a stone so decided to stay with the programme for the summer as was going on a cruise. I enjoyed the programme because I could have everything as long as I stayed within a calorie deficit. I did my steps & workouts 3 to 5 times a week, and drinking 2 to 3 litres of water a day. I either lost every week or maintained my weight. I loved the group as was so encouraging and my coach Cormac was inspiring and so encouraging also. If you want skills for life to change your health this is the programme to do. I have lost 12.7kgs altogether, feel younger and fitter than ever. Thanks guys and keep up the great work.

I joined A+fitness end of January this year and it has been the best decision I've made for myself and my health. I completed the 10 week signature programme and then joined the membership. I had been from a sporty background but over the last few years put on the pounds. I had no motivation to change and I was both sad and angry for letting myself get so unhealthy. I was told about A+fitness and after a chat with Ashley I felt more positive and grateful that someone was willing to help me. The support from the coaches is second to none and while it took a bit of getting used to, everything they thought me is now second nature and fits into my busy work and home life. The support also from like minded people is fantastic. I'm still on my journey and have had ups and downs but that's life. My coach Danny is so supportive but also keeps me on my toes and is always at the end of the phone. The programme includes workouts, steps, water intake and nutrition but more importantly works on your mindset and that's what I attribute to my weight loss success to date. It has given me the tools to change the way I think about food and exercise all for the better.
