Oooooooh LAWD is there judgment flying around all over the place! But what’s the difference between being judgmental and exercising good judgment, aka discernment? At first these might seem hard to tell apart, but once you heal your relationship to them you’ll never confuse them. Judgment feels heavy, sticky, or energetically intrusive in your body. It often relies on shaming others to get them to agree or go along with your insistent point of view. It feels like you must get others to do as you do or else... Discernment knows what is right for you and acts accordingly. It respects and accepts that others are doing what’s right for them. It notices where boundaries must be set and does so cleanly without digging at the other. How different would 2020 have been if there was no shaming of others and we all simply said our no’s cleanly? Once you let go of judgment you wonder why you ever put so much energy into it. It’s a HUGE energy drain, and you’re only disempowering yourself.
