Your EJHS Student Council and PTO have combined efforts to collect boxes of macaroni and cheese to donate to Pantry 279 for their Thanksgiving food basket drive. Any brand macaroni and cheese is great—please bring them to your homerooms now—11/10; the homeroom that collects the most boxes will win a surprise breakfast treat/prize!

Pantry 279 works tirelessly to feed our local community and they rely on the kindness and generosity of our people to help—they are planning on building nearly 2200 boxes/meals this Thanksgiving! Our goal is to collect 500 boxes of macaroni and cheese.

We wanted to take a quick moment to express our profound THANK YOU to everyone who helped make the fall glow party a giant success last Friday. THANK YOU to all the volunteers who helped in the cafeteria, to those who picked up pizza and donated drinks, candy, and even money. THANK YOU to the incredible teachers and staff who gave their time to help with supervision, who delivered tickets to kids, and even DJ'd--we are so lucky to have so many incredible folks as part of our C**ts community!

Pre-sale tickets are $6--if you purchase a ticket with cash at the door it will be $7. All pre-sale tickets will go home with EJHS students prior to the dance to make entry faster (a benefit of pre-purchasing)!

FRIENDS, we have just a few spots left for volunteers for this year's PumpkinFest--we need six folks willing to host a trunk-or-treat spot, and a few to help with parking assistance (directing traffic) and clean-up. OUR PTO HAS CANDY - if you're willing to host a trunk-or-treat spot, but getting candy is prohibitive, we will happily help out, just message us.

Everyone is welcome--families, businesses etc. and we assure you it will be a blast and is an awesome way to give back to our local community.

The student planning group is in need of folks willing to host a "trunk-or-treat" spot or assist with setup/teardown. We know money can be a barrier, and out PTO will provide candy to anyone willing to host, just message us!!

Today we kicked off our festivities with a fun gift for all EJHS teachers and staff to say CHEERS to being so close to the end of an amazing year! Thank you 185 Promotions & Apparel for helping us with these fun gifts!

As we conclude National Administrative Professionals week, please join us in celebrating and thanking these three incredible women who do much at Edgewood Junior High School to serve all our students, teachers and staff. They truly are remarkable, and we love working with them! Thank you Mrs. Ashba, Mrs. Norris, and Mrs. Buckles--WE ARE SO GRATEFUL FOR YOU!

We know teacher appreciation looks a little different once students enter junior high and go from having one-two teachers, to seven plus EACH DAY! Not to mention all the amazing staff that support our C**ts behind the scenes as well.

We have also received a lot of feedback from parents like you that they appreciate being able to donate to and venmo our PTO to help collectively support efforts as a COMMUNITY and treat everyone as a whole.

In honor of teacher appreciation week, our PTO has organized a special gift for everyone at EJHS, so PLEASE JOIN US--TREAT OUR TEACHERS! We're hoping we can rally 50 people that might be willing to contribute a $10 donation to our venmo account to help offset the cost of the gift.
