Many of us struggle with a range of emotional and mental health difficulties every day, yet only some feel able to talk about it. We’d like to change that. No matter what you’re struggling with, whether it’s stress from work, anxiety, or you just feel as if it’s all getting too much, we’re here to listen and support you. Our thoughts can tell us that other people don't want to know what we maybe going through or may not want to help or see us as a burden but please know that none of these are true. Here at MHSMEACS your voice will always be heard even in the darkest times It’s ok not to be ok. Let us light up the dark with and for you
Please always remember that having a mental illness does NOT make you an attention seeker, it does NOT make you a burden, it does NOT make you desperate and needy and it does NOT make you helpless for reaching out for help or support from other people. We are all trying to survive and we all have different ways of coping with our survival. We all have our ways of staying calm even when the worst happens to us, even when life becomes meaningless. Sometimes it doesn't become an act of living, your existence has become an act of survival and I am so proud of you. I won't tell you that this is temporary, because I know mental illnesses never leave forever, there are always going to be phases. Stop giving yourself a hard time for things that you can't control. Just keep breathing. I want you to remember that you're enough even when it feels like you're not.
