Mental health is important in all aspects of our lives, including in professional settings. That’s why we’re putting it first this and ! Let’s make our workplaces . Share how you prioritize Mental Health at Work!
Everyone deserves a support system and access to the resources they need to thrive. This , check on your loved ones and be honest with them about how you’re feeling, too. Every open conversation brings us closer to community.
A reminder this MentaI Illness Awareness Week that mental illnesses are NOT adjectives. 🙅
Some of these phrases are so rooted in everyday vocabulary that many of us have said similar things without even knowing that it contributes to stigma. Learning about language that promotes positive mental health, and speaking up when you hear phrases that can be harmful, is one way to help remove the stigma of mental health.
Let's dig a little deeper to find words that describe what we *really* mean, rather than using mental health terms to explain how we feel.
We're just two weeks away from our community mental health forum, Let's Talk! There's still time to RSVP for this FREE event and join us as we discuss the relationship between social media and mental health, and how we can build healthier spaces online.
We hope you'll be a part of this important conversation — and invite others, too! October 22 from 6-7:30 pm at the Sedgwick County Zoo Cargill Learning Center.
