My heart is filled with gratitude 🙏🏾 God is good. I thank each and every person who contributed towards the success of this event. A special thank you to the guests who graced us with their presence and made this event a memorable one.

As much as I love rain, I prayed for clear sunny skies on the 25th. Proverbs 19:21 says “Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails”.

With that said, we didn’t let the rain deter us from enjoying every moment.

Sis-in-love came over for dinner last night. On the menu: couscous loaded with a whole lot of goodness, topped with chicken fillets 😋

I got a lot of questions on WhatsApp about what is exactly in the couscous:

Steamed spinach and carrots
Sautéed trio peppers and onions with Worcestershire sauce
Oven roasted butternut cubes seasoned with paprika and ground coriander

Creamy mashed garlic potatoes
Pan fried chicken fillets with balsamic vinegar

Onion relish with chutney

Went to visit my parents last week and my Mom had a “small request” (as she calls it 😂)… creamed spinach 🥬 green goodness.

We both love spinach, can pretty much eat it with anything at anytime.

Throwback on a Tuesday.

A year ago today 👩🏽‍🍳grateful that I’m still here, doing what I love. We soldier on… against all odds. For if God is for us, who can be against us?! I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
