Europa Foam is looking for a Debtors and Creditors Controller

Responsibilities:
• Keep track of assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts
• Plan course of action to recover outstanding payments
• Locate and contact debtors to inquire of their payment status
• Negotiate payoff deadlines or payment plans
• Handle questions or complaints
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies
• Create trust relationships with debtors, when possible, to avoid future issues
• Update account status and database regularly
• Alert superiors of debtors unwilling or unable to pay when necessary
• Comply with requirements when legal action is unavoidable

Skills and Experience:
• Proven experience in debt collections
• Experience in working with targets and tight deadlines
• Knowledge of relevant legal requirements
• Working knowledge of MS Office and databases
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Apt in negotiating and persuading
• Ability to be polite and compassionate without lacking confidence
• Account receivable ability will be added advantage
• Maintaining the billing system
• Generating invoices and account statements
• Performing account reconciliations
• Maintaining accounts receivable files and records
• Producing monthly financial and management reports
• Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries
• Assisting in general financial management and analysis

Duties include:
Customer service, counter sales
Tele sales with active and non active customers
Preparing sales reports for customer enquiry and comments
Handling email and phone requests for quotes
Handing whatsapp queries
Handling all walk-in customers
Admin skills for filling invoices in well organised manner
Marketing ideas to build sales and meet sales targets
Good communication skills
