Electronic scripting requires security on the source of the signee. In South Africa it is a legal requirement according to specific legislation. ChronicDoc has incorporated the use of advanced electronic signatures in our script signing process. This verifies who has signed the document and is essentially as good as a hand signed prescription. All doctors using ChronicDoc are onboarded in person by a ChronicDoc representative and they can then begin signing documents on the go. Once a script is signed, it requires 2 factor authentication by a one-time pin sent to the signees phone.
