2. MAKE HEALTHIER EATING HABITS !
No need to be unrealistic about your dietary goals. Include healthier choices little by little, e.g. eat healthier fats by replacing that bag of cookies with a bag of dried fruits or nuts. Foods to elimate - processed foods & high levels of salt. Foods to include - fibre, fuits, vegetables and lean protein
3. QUIT SMOKING OR AVOID SECOND HAND SMOKING!

4. GET ENOUGH SLEEP
Resarch shows that getting less than 7 hours of sleep can contribute to high blood pressure, type-2 diabetes and obesity. 7-8 hours of sleep is the ideal amount for optimum heart health .
5.SOCIAL INTERACTION
Studies show that social isolation can also cause heart disease although further research is still being done. When going out for a lunch break or buying groceries bring a friend along and accomplish that together. If you find difficulty in this, join a club or volunteer for a good cause. 🤗
