Meet Prudence Bojosi, a 35-year-old entrepreneur from Vanderbijlpark. Prudence, known more affectionately as "Puse", grew up in a family centred around entrepreneurship and developed a passion for business at an early age.

Prudence says, "I've failed at business so many times. From a failed clothing shop to a failed laundromat, and eventually a failed take-away business near the traffic department in Vanderbijlpark".

It was during her time running the take-away shop in Vanderbijlpark that she saw an opportunity to tap into the driving school industry. Fast forward a few years, and Prudence now runs P&G We Q4U Services, a highly successful driving school, under the umbrella of PG Baane Holdings. The business services more than 50 clients a day.

Prudence, your ability to overcome adversity and constantly rise up is awe-inspiring, and the Green Seeds family salutes you!

Meet Lemohang Moleleki, a 27-year-old entrepreneur from Bloemfontein.

Growing up, Lemohang, more affectionately known as "Lemon", was instilled with a strong work ethic. She started her first job at her high-school tuckshop and also had the opportunity to work at her grandparents' tuckshop in Lesotho during the school holidays. This early exposure gave her a taste of entrepreneurship and sparked a lifelong enthusiasm for connecting with people and driving sales.

Lemohang says, "I've always been passionate about meat, biltong especially. I remember talking to a friend of mine who was working in a butchery, and we began investigating the idea of opening up a biltong shop. I began sampling various types of biltong and researcing numerous recipes."

Fast forward to a few years later, and Lemohang is the proud owner of Faith Bites Biltong, where she produces and sells traditional biltong, drywors, chilli bites, and chutney bites.

The business has grown to such an extent that she was recently able to open her own shop.

Lemohang, your tireless energy and tenacity are testament to the incredible entrepreneur that you are, and we at Sandiso salute you🙏🏽

Meet Mamello Shomolakgosi, a 24-year-old 'foodpreneur' from Bloemfontein in the Free State. Mamello is the founder of Flavours By Favour, a small business with two main legs. The first leg provides catering services to public and private clients for various events, and the second leg is a takeaway service where clients place orders and the food is delivered to them.

Mamello's food journey started when she was 9 years old, helping her mom and aunt cook in the house. In 2018, she joined her mother's catering business and then went to a Culinary and Hospitality Academy in 2019. Unfortunately, due to insufficient funds, Mamello was only able to study for a year before she found employment at one of Bloemfontein's most prestigious restaurants. She lost her job during the COVID-19 pandemic, and that is when she took the big step to launch her own company.

The business has since grown in leaps and bounds. Some of her most notable achievements include catering for the Blackdoor experience, Miss Free State, Sunset Groove, and numerous weddings and functions. In addition to this, Mamello also runs a Charity Foundation called the Favour Foundation, which focuses on donating food and clothes to those in need.

Mamello says that "My dream is to grow my business and foundation to transfer skills and develop prospective chefs around the country."

Meet Karabo Tlhotlhalemaje, an entrepreneur from Bloemfontein in the Free State. Karabo was washing cars as a ‘side hustle’ at the beginning of 2020. Karabo’s daughter was born a week prior to the hard lockdown imposed as a result of COVID-19. He unfortunately lost his job as a result of the pandemic and was stuck with no income to support his newborn baby. Out of this dire situation, Karabo launched the mobile car-wash concept. According to Karabo, a lot of people thought he was crazy to launch this concept with no transport. He was using public transport to move around, sometimes even walking to clients. Karabo says, “I remember when I started this mobile car-wash, people were mocking me saying 'oho o sa hlatswa dikoloi' (he dropped out of varsity and now he washes cars) and 'otlo fella kae' (he will end up nowhere). I had no proper equipment - just me, R70, and my blue bucket.” Fast-forward three years, and Prolific Empire has become a multi-purpose company that not only operates as a mobile car-wash that services more than 50 clients a month, including the University of the Free State, but that has ventured into logistics as well. Karabo was selected as Yoco’s Inspirational start-up story of the year in 2022, Stadium Food’s local hero, and Sunday World’s unsung hero in 2023. In 2024, he enrolled for a scholarship at EBL business institute.

Karabo joined the SANDISO Enterprise Development Programme and has since acquired a bike (soon to be two bikes) which will take the business to new heights.

Karabo, your tenacity and tireless energy is inspiring, and the SANDISO family salutes you!

Meet Lerato 'Lovers' Monaheng, an entrepreneur from Sebokeng in Gauteng. Lerato’s entrepreneurial journey started at an early age when he took his father's lawnmower to cut grass and make some extra pocket money. He has grown quite a bit since then, as he now runs a successful small business called LEM Gardens, where he services over 150 customers a month and provides employment to 4 people. In December 2022, Lerato tragically and violently lost his brother, an event which he has described as the worst moment of his life. He knew he had two options: either he stands up for his family, or he falls. A few months later and Lerato has grown his business into something he had once only dreamed about, and recently, he was able to purchase his first company bakkie in cash. In addition to the landscaping and gardening services, the business also does welding. Lerato's advice to small businesses is, "Do what you love and people will love what you do". Lerato, the Green Seeds family salutes you!
