We had our last exam session for 2023 this past weekend!
It was a tough session with the heat wave 🔥 and loadshedding (so no fans) but all the dancers coped amazingly and gave their best - well done everyone ❤

Tomorrow is the big day!!!.....22 Phoenix dancers will be performing with Springs Boys High Band in the Big Top at Carnival City!!

Well that's it ladies and Gents. Tomorrow is the big day you all been waiting for. All the preparation has been done, and we are set to go.

Today we start setting up Carnival City - Big Top Arena with all the technical requirements and sound checks etc. And start with our first rehearsals in the actual arena.

Recording breaking ticket sales, leaving us with only a couple of hundred seats available, so if your planning on getting your tickets at the door, you better be early.

Ticket Sales open at 13H00 and doors open at 14H00. Show starts at 16H00.

AIDT Dancer of the Year Competition

With this being the last day of 2022, I want to thank all my parents for their support throughout this year. Phoenix Dance Studio has had its 2nd successful year and continues to grow. I have loved being able to be part of each of my dancer's lives.....to watch you all grow on your individual dance journeys is a privilege.
We ended off 2022 with some girls taking part in the AIDT Dancer of the Year competition, where Elsje received Judge Cameron Banks's "Most Musical Dancer" award.
We also had fun at our Junior and Senior Christmas Parties and end of year Prizegiving.
Here's to 2023 and more dreams and memories being made together!!! ❤

The first Elite Eisteddfod hosted by Phoenix Dance Studio has come to an end. Although it was a long tiring, busy week it was also a week filled with excitement, talent and joy as we shared our love and passion for dance!

The day is finally here!!!
Today is the start of the Elite Dance Eisteddfod, after 4 years we are back on the stage performing live again and the first year hosted by Phoenix Dance Studio!!
I love you all and am so proud of you ❤❤❤ when you take to the stage, remember our main reason is because we love to dance!!
Always be gracious - no matter the outcome.
