Many rumours regarding the sale of M-KEM have been circulating, many of which are untrue.
In order to clarify here are the facts:
The company, M-KEM 24 Hour Pharmacy has been sold to the Clicks Group pending final authorisation by the Competition Tribunal. (The Competitions Board has sanctioned the sale with out pre-conditions)
Hylton Mallach (Mr. M) and his co-director Leigh Hershaw as well as the Executive Team, managers and all staff remain and will be employed by M-KEM 24 Hour Pharmacy which in turn is owned by the Clicks Group.
Service and standards (Mr. M’s Gold Standard) will continue as before as well as the running of M-KEM barring a few subtle and advantageous changes.
Part of Mr. M’s legacy is to see M-KEM continue to be a successful, unique service driven pharmacy. He is and will remain passionate about service and continue to put the needs of M-KEM’s customers first.

What to know about Travel vaccines

Many travel vaccines come in a series.
This means you'll have to get more than one shot to build up adequate immunity. We recommend starting your vaccination schedule at least 6 weeks before your trip so you can get all the shots you need on time and to give your immune system enough time to build-up antibodies.

How long after yellow fever vaccine can you travel?
Plan to get the vaccine at least 10 days before your travel since proof of vaccination is not valid until 10 days after getting the vaccine, the time needed to develop immunity to yellow fever virus.

Hole in the Wall (Eastern Cape)

The Hole in the Wall is an extraordinary natural arch. The formation consists of a tidal island containing a natural arch that takes the form of a hole pierced through a wall of sandstone and shale by the waves of the sea located at the mouth of the Mpako River, about 8 km due south of Coffee Bay on the Wild Coast Region, Eastern Cape in South Africa.

The natural arch is large enough for a sailboat to cross underneath it with ease. It is reachable by foot just off the beach joining the rock formation to the land at low tide.
