Blom, a replica of the top piece of a Leucadendron, cone protea cast into bronze.
The cone protea undergoes a transformative journey when engulfed by fire, liberating its dormant seeds to be carried by the wind, seeking fertile soil where they can thrive and flourish once more. This remarkable process embodies the symbol of the phoenix, soaring above adversity, and resiliently embracing life anew.

Protea leaf bangle cast into solid bronze inspired by the Cape floral kingdom.
This bronze piece is a direct replica of a King Potea leaf.
The Protea family is named after the Greek God Proteus, who was known for his shape shifting abilities.
Like Proteus, Protea plants demonstrate remarkable diversity.
Can be made to order in solid silver or bronze.
Twirl, has been cast from a young velvety green acacia seed pod, beautifully capturing its playful and wild essence.
I am a traditional African healer and artist, whose calling for the African bush and its medicinal and spiritual wonders, has inspired my creations.
I have been gathering elemental objects from across Africa.
Casting them in metal, thereby transforming their primal beauty into wild adornments.
Each crafted design is deeply rooted in my knowledge of the natural world and its symbolism, ethically sourced from nature.

Bokkie, my liefie!
A direct replica of a steenbok vertebra.
As an avid bone collector, I am always looking for extraordinary natural objects. I was gifted this heart shape bone. Bokkie is the Afrikaans word for little buck or as a term of endearment, meaning sweetheart. I am intrigued by the heart shape of this steenbok bone because they mate for life. They are a symbol of survival in difficult time, it brings its wearer endurance and deep connections.

This Gingko leaf was gathered from a tree in Cape Town and cast into bronze. I love the beauty of the leaf and it’s magical medicinal properties. The Maidenhair tree a symbol of longevity, vitality and endurance, this tree is said to have been one of the only things that survived the atomic blast.
