We have just finished the beautiful server. Made on the 4th January 1912. I am sure that it could tell a few stories. The carcuss was been finished with Granny B's Old Fashioned Paint . The top was sanded down and given a natural protective glaze. The hardware was cleaned and received three coats of Rust-Oleum South Africa This is one of those statement pieces that catches your eye!

Another two weeks behind us and gratefully we are getting busier and busier. Apart from garden furniture, repairs to chairs seem to be the in thing at at moment. At one stage we had 34 repairs to take care of ranging from broken legs, missing/broken spindles, re spraying, wobbly legs needing to be re doweled, broken seats and broken backs. Heather is always teasing me saying that I have a chair fe**sh but hey, I love repairing chairs!

111 years ago, this Cutlery Canteen was given as a wedding gift. Over the years, it has become a bit tired.
I had the privilege of giving it a new lease of life.
