But do we know exactly how important it is given the restrictive society we live in today?
Let's give the hard evidence first...
Open-Ended (adj): having no pre-determined limit or boundary.
Play (noun): engage in activity for enjoyment and recreation rather than a serious or practical purpose.
Therefore open-ended play is... play with no limits, rules, or boundaries, letting a child engage in the activity for happiness and creativity with no predetermined outcome.
The benefits of open-ended toys are undoubtedly a great many...
