On Friday we had the Joyce Chevalier folk come to visit and they played a game with our residents. It was well received on both sides, and the folk from Joyce Chevalier asked if they could come again. What a pleasure, and thank you to them.
We have begun the services of an Occupational Therapist, and it is proving to be great fun for residents and staff, with a bit of photobombing by Matron Caroline's pug, Birdie.
Yesterday we celebrated Joan Whittaker's 96th birthday What a milestone and her son, Robert arrived, from overseas, just before tea.
Today was a big day for one of our residents. She was one of the first residents to move into Peers Village and today celebrated her 96th birthday! She had 3 Granddaughters and 1 great granddaughter there and the staff also arrived with a cake. The staff sang happy Birthday and a good time was had by all. Happy Birthday - we all love and respect you.
Princess decided to have a Bingo session and to stimulate the brains. .It looks as though she had lots of fun!
