Choosing the combinations for our cushions takes hours, so many colours, patterns and textures.
I’m combining vintage tapestries with Christian Lacroix, Kate Spade and a few vintage fabrics, I hold my breath, it’s not easy.

We are donating R67, from any sale of R300 or more to Chain, the animal welfare and rescue organization in the Witzenberg area.
Not every dog is as loved as our Petal.

The message seems so necessary now.

I find hand stitching so therapeutic, slowly and gently repairing vintage tablecloths, hiding the stains, darning the lace, and giving new life to something that took many hours of hand embroidery, long before I was born.
I will sell these when my little shop re opens and I hope they make someone very happy.

Thanks to our lovely customers, we were able to buy Anie a new sewing machine.
Anie makes our bags, aprons and cushions.
Jose loves cheese, he always gets a treat when I drop or fetch work.

We didn't want to be the ones to blow her cover, but it's official, so we can proudly announce the beautiful Miley Cyrus bought a bag from us yesterday. It was a beautiful recycled textile bag, and we think she's awesome

I love this Godmother, she is made from the lace and tulle from a wedding dress I found years ago. She will be in the shop tomorrow waiting for a new home.
