Ubuntu World Records proudly celebrates the spirit of ubuntu in an extraordinary feat of Love Activism! Ladles of Love achieved something truly remarkable, setting a new world record that embodies the legacy of our precious Nelson Mandela.

For ten hours, 6003 volunteers passionately dedicated 67 minutes on Mandela Day to create 150,000 items that will nourish, nurture, and uplift children at ECD Centres in impoverished communities across the country📚

The human connection during this record-breaking event was heartwarming. We witnessed thousands of supporters like you, spreading kindness, compassion and love in service to others. It was a beautiful sight to see as sandwiches were made, edible gardens created, educational toys crafted, jars of hope filled with dry foods, and hampers packed with essential items for children in need🤍

Ubuntu World Records extends heartfelt gratitude to YOU, the amazing volunteers, partners, sponsors and donors who generously contributed their time, money, and resources.

From making sandwiches with love to fill jars with dried goods and hope, your involvement matters!

We will be attempting to break the record for the highest number of volunteers doing 67 minutes on Mandela Day to nourish, nurture and grow children in ECD Centres in impoverished communities🌱
