Audi S5 Coupe 3.0 Quattro 2018 receives new brake pads, disks and wear sensor together with Dot4 brake fluid flush

Porsche 718 Boxter GTS 982 in for a major service and brake fluid flush. We replaced the spark plugs, air, oil, cabin filters and used Wolf 5w40 fully synthetic oil. Tyre pressure was checked and corrected. The inspection, diagnostics scan and test drive followed . Once we were satisfied the service was reset, followed by a wash and client briefing during handover.

Porsche 911 Carrera S 997-1 had fuel running too lean, oil pressure issues and a few misfires. We cleaned the injectors and replaced the spark plugs together with some general TLC. The flat six is now running smoothly as she should. #911

Fitting all of this in was certainly a challenge

Injectors Cleaning and Testing on an Audi Q3. We are proud to offer the best possible petrol injector service and proof of work. The injectors are ultrasonic cleaned in two stage, the second stage includes flushing and reverse flushing the injectors unit we are satisfied with the cleaning fluid clarity. The injectors are the placed on the test bench and ran through a number of test variables. This includes leak detection, spray pattern analysis and volumetric measurements together with resistance reading of the solenoids. Once we are satisfied with the results, the injectors are fitted with new seals and ready to perform at its peak.

Audi RS4 B7 shock absorbers refurbishment and engine mountings replacement. Audi/VAG stopped the manufacturing of the rear shocks without any OEM replacement. Owners are now faced with the option modifying their RS4s’ to non-standard coil overs and loosing the OEM specs that decrease the collect ability and value. We opted for the refurbishment, keeping the RS4 within OEM spec. This is a long & timely exercise and budget wise still a good stretch less than the now unavailable OEM shocks

BMW M4 Carbon Fiber Front Splitter Repair at stratospheric stress levels. This was a difficult repair based on the fractured carbon twirl. Plenty of complications were overcome.

Two Audi RS4s in for a Major Service each. The RS4s were treated to Liqui Moly 5W40 Leichthauf High Tech with Ceratec additive. We upgraded the spark plugs to Bosch Double Iridium and replaced the oil, fuel, cabin and air filters. Audi rs LIQUI MOLY

Interesting cleaning job on an Aston Martin DB9 injectors

Alfa Romeo 4C with 7681Km came in for front suspension corrective adjustment after an unfortunate meeting with a pothole. The front swaybar link moved slightly to the rifgt and the left front wheel hub 5mm to the front. It was easily adjusted after multiple measurements were taken to ensure no other damage was sustained. We then took the 4C to All Wheel & Tyre in Parow where Jerome and his team did the final wheel alignment

Audi A4 Cabrio 3.2 Quattro in for Brake pads and disks, front and rear. We also conducted front-end suspension maintenance on the upper control arm and replaced the bushings. The inner front right CV boot was also torn and replaced.

VW Golf 7 GTI with 102411Km in for Major Service. We replaced the read shocks with Bilsteins, follwed by new brake pads and disks all round with a DOT 4 brake fluid flush. We replaced the air, oil and cabin fliters, then upgraded the oil to fully synthetic Wolf 5W40 Vital Tech and the spark plugs to Bosch Double Platinum

Audi A4 1.8 TFSI Injectors having a day at the Spa. These injectors were at the receiving end of dirty fuel and the cleaning of it formed part of cleaning the complete fuel delivery system. The petrol had to be drained and filtered using double layered coffee filters. The fuel tank had to be manually cleaned and vacuumed. On this specific model, the fuel filter was a separate part from the LPFP and we ordered a new one from Audi. Precautionary systems checks included measuring the coils resistance, inspecting the spark plugs and performing a compression test. The buzz word with injectors cleaning is “ultrasonic cleaning”, that is true, but absolutely useless if the injectors are only externally cleaned and expected that it will clean the internals. The Dealerships are specifically guilty of this. A second stage ultrasonic cleaning should take place where the injectors are pulsed while in the ultrasonic bath. Then most importantly flushing and reverse flushing, with alternating vacuum and positive pressure, should take place during this phase. We provide evidence during our test result showing the carbon gunk we removed from within the injectors. In this case new seals and O-rings were fitted to the 4 GDI injectors, where the O-rings on the 4PFI Injectors were still in good condition

Porsche Cayenne V6 Diesel 92A with 108980 Km, Job Code Name: Cinderella. The Porsche suffered from a severe coolant leak, we took advantage to perform a carbon clean during the same job . The carbon on the intake ports and back of the intake valves was quite hard and crystallised. This was removed using walnut blasting/vacuum process. All new seals and gaskets including the oil filter housing and water pump. We are quite pleased with the outcome to say the least!

Audi Kryptonite and a Urine Test. The Q7 was booked in with a severe coolant leak and the owner topped-up each day with yellow-green coolant not suited for VAG engines. The result was that the plastic parts that came in contact with this yellow-green coolant became very brittle and leaks sprung from every possible weak point. VAG engines can only use G12+ coolant that is orange-pinkish in colour. If you are at a petrol station and you need to top up with coolant, please specify G12+, else only add water. Different types of coolant do not mix and it is designed for different operating temperatures. So if you are driving a Porsche, Audi or VW; stay away from the green Kryptonite! It took forever to flush the coolant with multiple flushes to get to an acceptable water value after which we could then add G12+

A real dirty set of injectors was ultrasonic cleaned and flushed. The test results shows it performed well and the carbon gunk removed from within the injectors is astonishing

Japanese visitor to a (mainly) German workshop. This young Japanese Lady, cough, erm, uh, excuse me; Toyota Hilux 3.0 D4D with a mere 295773Km on the clock came in for a carbon clean walnut blasting/vacuum treatment. Well we got rid of her dirty secrets and her internals are as clean as a whistle. Happy we could be of service))

BMW 325i E93 Cabriolet with 167088Km in for a Major Service. We conducted a major service and inspection, replaced oil, air and cabin filters, then topped up the coolant. For this service we opted for Liqui Moly 5w30 Top Tec 4600 oil and Bosch Platinum spark plugs. A diagnostic scan was then done to ensure there were no faults and the service was reset. The inspection results were noted and communicated with the client for future maintenance on the to do list.
