Skiing in the snow can be an exhilarating experience, but it requires some preparation and technique to get the hang of it 🌨

First, always dress in layers to stay warm, but ensure your outer layer is waterproof to protect against wet snow. A good pair of goggles is essential for clear vision in bright or snowy conditions- you can rent these from the ski hire stores. ⛷

When skiing, maintain a balanced stance with your knees slightly bent and your weight centred over your skis. This will help you stay stable, especially on uneven terrain - and prevent unnecessary falls. 👏

Take the time to warm up with some easy runs before tackling more challenging slopes. Also, keep an eye on skiers around you - some people fly down the slopes at crazy speeds, and you don't want to be caught in a crash like that 😳

Lastly - have fun! Skiing is not an every day luxury, so enjoy it while you're there!

The Silvretta Arena ski resort is perched high above Ischgl and the Paznaun valley, reaching up to 2,872 metres above sea level.

- It is the third-biggest ski resort in the Austrian province of Tyrol
- There are 239 km of slopes, with runs of up to 11 kilometres long
- Ischgl has 45 state-of-the-art cable cars and lifts
- Due to its location at almost 3,000 metres above sea level, it recieves good snowfall all season long!

This diverse ski resort has 47 km of blue slopes, 140 km of red slopes and another
