Zille reveals why she turned down many invitations to join the ANC, and how thought she could withdraw from politics after the transition to democracy, expressing frustration at being forced back again eighteen months later as a concerned mom to defend children's rights in school education. An inspiration to the thousands of mom's fighting to defend their kids against the current Basic Education Laws Amendment law and policies harmful to kids. Zille explains that while the Democratic Party may have been relatively small at the time, their views greatly influenced the CODESA Constitution. Zille's story is a must watch for journalists seeking to uncover the truth against all odds.

Both Zille and McIntosh fought apartheid, advocating human rights in a liberal democratic framework, while opposing socialism, Marxism and race based nationalism of whatever colour. Graham McIntosh spoke up for decades out of Christian conviction on this and multiple other issues first against the apartheid government and later again in opposition role in the New South Africa. The interview overturns the woke/ Marxist narrative of South African history, a binary two sided class race struggle of oppressor vs oppressed. The ruling party has made out in the history taught in state media and schools and their press releases that they were the only ones who fought apartheid, and imply that Zille was a defender of the old regime. That narrative is false and this interview corrects the story. PRAY FOR PRESIDENT CYRIL RAMAPHOSA CONSIDERING BELA EDUCATION BILL

Please pray for President Cyril Ramaphosa as he considers whether to sign the BELA education bill, or send it back to Parliament for corrections.

WHY SHOULD WE PRAY?
The bill would take power away from parents to decide how our children will be educated. It would impact on multiple Constitutional rights, that Ramaphosa himself negotiated as lead negotiator for his party at CODESA. This bill is the biggest change in education since the very good 1996 schools act and will impact the next generation of children. The Bible instructs is to pray for kings and those in authority (1 Timothy 2). If we neglect to obey that command, then we can't blame the government for our problems, because we are part of the problem.

Encouraging is that since we started protesting against this draconian bill in 2017, the government has agreed to two thirds of the corrections we asked for. We just need to remaining one third. Also about two thirds of the bill we don't have a problem with. We just need them to correct the clauses taking power from parents. Millions of rands have been donated by parents to fight this at the Constitutional Court. But it would be much better for everyone if the President gave the bill his red pen of corrections instead of his black pen of signature.

Cyril Ramaphosa was the leader of his High school, Student Christian Movement, and his leadership potential was recognized by the national leadership of SCM. Pray for Cyril Ramaphosa that he will remember what he learned about education in the Bible in his youth.

PRAY FOR ISRAEL : STARTING TO CRACK UNDER PSYCHOLOGICAL WARFARE

Yesterday much of Israel was disabled by a general stike, half a million people joined protests to pressure the government to capitulate to Hamas negotiation demands after Hamas executed six hostages in cold blood. Israel and it's supporters are facing the biggest campaign of psychological warfare of world history. We are in the middle of it. Unfortunately, peace loving people are vulnerable to being manipulated by heartless liars and bullies. In the Bible we we Goliath taunting Israel and David. Sennacherib the Assyrian general threatened, mocked and made promises to try get Jerusalem to surrender. When the Turks threatened Vienna to surrender the gates of Christian Europe, they used extreme psychological warfare and threats.

Israel, Western civilization and Christians need to realise how high the stakes are and how dirty the game is being played.

First, Hamas is using the hostages for psychological torture and blackmail of Israel. Effective psychological torture includes generating false hope. Release a few hostages, kill a few. Keep emotions going up and down. They will never release all of them so they can keep the psychological torture and bargaining going. As soon as you give in to a blackmailer, the more they increase their price. The more that is given by Israel , the more Hamas will up their demands for the remainder. This is not the first time Hamas have taken hostages, and even in the unlikely event they were all freed, they will just take more. In world War Two, certain Nazi’s tried to negotiate to not kill certain Jews in exchange for money or promised advantages. A few Jews were saved this way, but most were not. The British governments response was that "as soon as you start paying blackmail the blackmailer increases his price ". N***s had to be crushed and so must these terrorists.

Hamas has been and can be much more cruel to its hostages than it has been thus far. The Assyrians, Romans and Babylonians were much more cruel. Ironically, it is the influence of Jesus Christ, the resurrected victim of such cruelty who stopped cruelty being normative across the world.

The second issue is that Iran is on the brink of having long range nuclear missiles, unlike the atheist Soviet Union, they are not necessarily deterred by mutually assured destruction (MAD) of such a war. And again may use such a threat for psychological warfare against Israel, the Arab Middle East, Europe and America to force capitulation to their demands.

Third, Hezbolla to the North is a much stronger enemy that Hamas, and has thus far hardly used much of this strength. There is a long way to go in this war.

Fourth, naive Christians even ones who were supporting Israel are starting to waver with relentless news propaganda reports with images of death (common to all war), as if Israel was the aggressor and this could be solved by ceasefire. The false charge of genocide at the ICJ is itself part of the psychological warfare.

Fifth, sadly the Gaza war is not likely to be over anytime soon. Hamas can drag the war on guerilla style from tunnels, arms caches, and probably planned to do so from the start. And that means endurance against relentless false claims blaming Israel for the war. A key to strangling their arms supply is for Israel to control the Egypt border, and now they want to make that a condition of hostage release. For Netanyahu to give in might score short term political points but it would be suicidal.

Churchills main role in World War 2, was persuading the British people to endure suffering and resist for a long war, as with Zelenski in Ukraine. It's not what people want to hear, but it's reality. And reality needed to endure to win. Understand the fight and don't psychologically crack.

The Chief Rabbi of South Africa has just acknowledged Jesus is a Jew born in Israel. While maybe obvious to you, most Jews have been in denial about his Jewishness for two thousand years, and that is one of the main barriers to their belief in Jesus as messiah. This is a titanic cultural shift, but it's not just our Chief Rabbi. Suddenly, in this war and international debate, Jewish leaders in politics, religion, music and comedy to use Jesus and the New Testament to argue against the Boycott Disinvestment Sanctions campaign against Israel. Jews around the world are taking ownership of Jesus as one of them. Pray for their eyes to be opened to see more light from the Bible, as was my grandfather and great grandparents.

The second in command of the EFF has moved to MK party as head of political education. Why is this a problem? Answer: Because MK got most of the Zulu vote at a massive 15 percent in the election vote, away from the ANC, and before that the prolife, pro Israel, free market IFP under Buthelezi. That puts the EFF and MK together at a quarter of the vote. Now a lot of these voters and their leaders actually agree with Christian and pro family views on many issues. But Shivambu unlike the mix of other motives is a Marxist Fanonist revolutionary. Fanonist is a flavor of African nationalism with Marxism. And with him in this portfolio he will have a lot of power to take the party in that direction. Why does this matter? Answer: Because Marxism killed a hundred million born people in the last century, enslaved a billion people without political or religious freedom, persecuted the church, and Impoverished all but the elite. It's the political equivalent of a get rich quick con scheme, preying on the poor.

Yes. Marxism is a real threat. And Christians and other liberal democrats must oppose it and do our own biblical political education. Marxism is a political religion, a rival to the Christian faith, and we must all expose its lies:

* Marxism makes the state into an all powerful god that must provide for everyone's needs
* Marxism denies the sinfulness of all men including our political party.
* Marxism tries badly to help poverty via the state, rather than private Charity promoted by Christian faith
* Marxism denies the sanctity of life, and promotes revolutionary violence
* Marxism denies the right to property and promotes theft.

We will work with anyone of any political party to help them do good, and will debate, but the ideology of revolutionary Marxism is an enemy of the Christian faith.

Couple decides to not abort baby after Cape Town prolife protest

DOES OUR PRAYER MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

I asked for prayer for the prolife cause today. You can get tired hearing prayer requests, so to encourage serious prayers in faith, I will give some examples where God answered. In 2008, I was frustrated at media bias and failure to report the Christian message. I asked our supporters to pray for open doors for the gospel.

About six months later, just before closing office at year end I sent a press release arguing we should celebrate Jesus, not Santa Claus at Christmas time. Normally the media world just ignore such a press release, but this one became a media sensational feeding frenzy, as I was falsely accused in newspapers, radio and television and billboards of potentially spoiling children's chance to get Christmas presents from Santa. My phone didn't stop ringing for a week with requests for interviews. And in all of these I got the opportunity to tell listeners the true message of Christmas drowned out by commercialism: that Jesus the son of God, become man, as God's gift to us, to save us from our sins, to die in our place, and that those who believe in him will have eternal life.

I had by that time, six months later actually forgotten my prayer request, and so spent much time on my knees asking God to show me what had caused this miracle of an open door for the gospel. When I got off my knees, I checked my message archive, and at the bottom of the page was this prayer request. God is sovereign over the media, and he hears our prayers. I could give many more such examples, and maybe will in future. But the role of the spiritual airforce, intercessors like you, if you will be one, is critical. Please pray.

WHAT TYPE OF POLITICAL SYSTEM DOES THE NEW TESTAMENT PREFER?

At first glance, the New Testament doesn't prescribe a political system. But that doesn't make it neutral. In the Seventeen century this was widely taught, but Christians have neglected this to our cost.

Jesus set up the church a covenant community made up of Christians and independent of the state or nation. In the Old Testament the covenant community included the nation, state and the religious authorities. Because the church is self governing by Christians only, the state which is also made up of unbelivers can't even judge what is the church, what is Christian teaching and who is a Christian. To respect the independence of the church, the state must give freedom broadly then also to false churches, false teachers and other religions. And to prevent political movements hiding under disguise of the church, it must also give broad political freedom of speech and associations.

There must be some limits of freedom, for example to protect morals and against slander or incitement of violence, but to protect our freedom we want broad freedom for all.

Classical liberal democracy is the political system that best does this, unlike for example Marxism or a state church. Between the seventeenth and late nineteenth centuries almost all Christian denominations with the exception of the Eastern orthodox have formally adopted this view.

It's not too complicated to prove from the Bible and logic. Liberal democracy is the negative image of the church. The two work in harmony. All other systems lead to persecution, especially from that brand of Christianity that seeks state help against the others.

But this view is under massive threat from those wanting to institute wokeness as a state religion.

Last night, Students for life watched the inspirational movie "Unplanned" about how abortion provider Abby Johnson changed her mind, and her abortion clinic was closed and turned into a prolife Centre. We have stories like this in South Africa too. Abortion clinics have closed and staff have changed their minds due to those who spoke up for the lives of the Unborn. Victoria Hospital Cape Town stopped abortion for weeks after our literature was distributed there and staff refused to help. Marie Stopes Bree street closed due prolife protests, and moved to hide in Rondebosch medical Centre. But protests continue. Pastor Derek King spoke to students for life on how they protested to all abortion clinics in pietermaritzburg closed. After Students for life campaign on med campus the Western Cape department of health annual report said they couldn't find enough young doctors willing to do abortions. The man who opened South Africas first abortion clinic emailed me to say he has quit, realising killing unborn babies is wrong. The head of gynecology at a major hospital told me she knows killing unborn babies is wrong, but argued it's the lesser of two evils vs illegal abortion. I told her that she will answer to God on judgment day for what she does and not for what other people do. But we need new courageous warriors to speak up for the unborn.

THE BLINDNESS OF TRIBALISTIC RELIGIOUS ELITISM

A fundamental cause of multiple forms of spiritual blindness is a elitist tribalistic religious attitude: Our tribe is totally right and the other tribe is totally wrong. There are Reformed tribes, Charismatic tribes, denominational tribes and lots of other forms of tribes. But such people are not genuinely seeking truth in the Bible or history or facts in modern church disputes to follow it where it leads. They are just seeking to prove religious superiority: that their tribe is superior to the other one, and often that they are part of a superior elite within their own tribe. The real split, is not between the tribes but between people who are seeking truth and those who are just seeking to prove their tribe is better.

You can easily be deceived into thinking these are nice people and that their critics are being unfair, because they will be very nice to you so long as you are 'in the herd'. As soon as you step out of the herd, they escalate nastiness exponentially. The herd and not God or the Bible is their guide. They conflate the two, are convinced that their herd and its leadership structure is biblical and so will not subject it to any biblical scrutiny. This disguise when exposed can be very hurtful, when you discover these people are not genuinely godly, nor do they care about you or the Bible at all, but only your value to their herd - otherwise they will throw you away and seek to destroy you.

These are the same type of people that shouted for Jesus crucifixion, killed the prophets, and built tombs for them to try bask in their glory. It is the same impulse that animates racism - just masked with religiosity. It is the same spirit that animates Islamic, Jewish, Hindu, Communist, Fascist extremism sadly tarnishing the name of Christianity. At its core is the use of religion as a prop to prove group superiority. Unfortunately, you will find them as a faction, popping up in every religious group. If you try debate such people, it is counter productive. If you disagree, they just box you as in an enemy tribe and look for reasons to attack you.

There is no point arguing theology with such people. If you identify them - walk away. Don't take their side or argue with them. Either way, if you give them attention, you will feed their narcissism. Their problem is not the issue in religious debate, their problem is the desire to belong to a religiously superior group.

And having identified the others, be careful that attitude doesn't slip into your mind, your church, your organization. So many others have fallen, it can happen to you too.
