Voicemail (Skit) is probably my best creation ever.

The intent was to create a cultural moment, a moment where where I can gather powerful voices all on one creative idea. The skit was also a way to show the people who kept asking me why I don’t do collabs, that I actually have access to some of my personal favourite and most respected artists, but knowing when to ask for that feature is very important. What are the chances that you’d get MAKHALANJALO, EWIVA & SHEMBE all in one song? Probably zero, but that skit made it possible. Not leaving out Thato (Mantarikisi) who is founder of FRIENDLY (fashion & lifestyle brand based in jhb) as well as Messiah (photographer/content creator & podcaster).

It took me from A story Told Illegally up until Sgubhu Sase Vuvu to prove to myself and the game as a whole that I can make real rap records as well as commercial records all by myself for me to feel worthy of asking for features. And now that all has been proven, I’m open to the game🙏🏾🫂❤️

The traditional way of marketing our works is not for us all.
Knowing we wouldn’t reach as much people/views on YT only made us think of other alternative ways to get our visual content out to the people and without limiting it and telling them to view the rest on our YT page, I mean why nhave the video on one “channel” when you can have it on many more. Now as for monetisation/making money from the work, all will come our way when it is due as long as all platforms can guarantee us exposure to the world and to corporates, we are more than pleased.
I say all of this to say that, the only important formula in everything is CONSISTENCY and as for how and where you present your work, that’s totally in your hands❤️🫂🙏🏾.
