PS: It's Remo who WhatsApps me process videos of our fabrics being printed. It's the biggest thrill every time, and I love it that he's in love with his craft after all this time!

‘Strawberry Thief’ block printed cotton (1883). This was William & Co most expensive production having used 34 print blocks to produce. It was also the last textile printing design by William Morris. In the second photo you can see one of the pear wood blocks used. In the last photo a print-block workshop during 1883 - Merton Abbey, Southeast London. The printed cotton would have taken a number of days to complete. Accuracy and quality of print for it’s time is truly remarkable.
