Blackmagic Design today announced an end to end workflow for producing cinematic Apple Immersive Video for Apple Vision Pro. Blackmagic URSA Cine Immersive is the world’s first commercial camera system designed to capture Apple Immersive Video. Apple Immersive Video is a brand-new storytelling format that leverages 8K, 3D video with a 180-degree field of view, and Spatial Audio to transport viewers to the center of the action. Blackmagic Design also announced updates to DaVinci Resolve, the industry-leading post-production software, that will give professional filmmakers the ability to edit Apple Immersive Video for the first time. Blackmagic URSA Cine Immersive and a new version of DaVinci Resolve that supports Apple Immersive Video for Apple Vision Pro will be released later this year.

Blackmagic Design announced Blackmagic Replay, a new way of creating live action replays for broadcasters. Blackmagic Replay is totally unique because it uses multiple HyperDecks to record into shared storage, while DaVinci Resolve is connected to the same shared storage as a powerful playback engine. However, the true power comes from having DaVinci Resolve handle the playback. That’s because it’s not just replay, but an extremely powerful editor with multi user collaboration features. Plus color correction, visual effects and audio post production. Now replays can be converted into promos, title sequences and instant social media updates. DaVinci Resolve Replay is available now in DaVinci Resolve 19 public beta.

The DaVinci Resolve Replay Editor is a hardware control panel that combines features for both replay and for multicam editing. It's affordable design has the same high quality keys that gaming keyboards use, so it's reliable and feels nice to use. Blackmagic Design announced DaVinci Resolve 19 a major new update which adds new AI tools, over 100 feature upgrades such as IntelliTrack AI, Ultra NR noise reduction, ColorSlice six vector grading, film look creator FX, multi source editing, new multipoly rotoscoping tools, new Fairlight AI audio panning to video, ducker track FX and ambisonic surround sound plus new features in Blackmagic Cloud for large customers. DaVinci Resolve 19 introduces powerful new DaVinci Neural Engine AI tools and over 100 feature upgrades. Editors can work directly with transcribed audio to find speakers and edit timeline clips.
