Burning some rubber as we test The Eel ToyRover 1JZeeee!
First start of the 1JZ ToyRover with the new manifold and bigger turbo, adding some quirky Eel flavour... " do you even weld bro?"
1JZ no s**t...!
The Eel, 1JZ vvti ToyRover, sporting a bigger twin scroll turbo and stainless steel turbo manifold. Still busy with new boost pipes and downpipe modifications. We will cap the power at 300kw due to gearbox limitations, and then a rigorous diet to improve the power to weight figures. She sounds like a jet taking off!!!
2.0L Superboss Turbo
76mm Stainless Steel Exhaust with one straightflow box and a 101mm tip. Looks mean and sounds great on this Corsa bakkie pocket rocket. What the customer wants, the customer gets. And sometimes they like to jump in and lend a helping hand.
Golf 5 GTi Big Turbo conversion on this damn sexy mk5 GTi.
The whole conversion and all fabrication done by The Eel. Custom- turbo manifold, downpipe and 76mm stainless steel straight flow exhaust. Dyno and tuning still to come. Owner is aiming for at least 330kW.

Audi A4 3.0 liter V6 Full Exhaust
Dual 50mm Cross-over ElecTig Eel, stainless steel de-cat exhaust. And for the first time this baby souds like a true V6!!! We are happy that we could save this car from the horrible work that was done on the original exhaust.
Land Rover TD5 Turbo Manifold
Ceramic coated TD5 turbo manifold came out very nicely. This landy is currently limited at 131kW due to injectors. Next step - bigger injectors and more power!

Polo 1.9TDi boost pipes.
Nope, these bad ass boost pipes with their colourful welds are not imported. They are fabricated right here in South Africa (17 Lood Street, Brackenfell Industrial) by none other than ELECTIG EEL.
Yet another Polo 1.9 TDi boost pipe kit on its way to our good friend Quinton from Q-TEC. If it's Diesel you drive, then Q-TEC is the place to go - he works magic on the software side of things.

We always try to keep our flow transitions and converging angles clean and true. We want as little as possible energy losses due to turbulance or pressure drops. All the available energy needs to do it's work on the turbo, which would ultimately result in a better spool up, better transient response and more power!!!

Diversity... We do specialized Tig welding. In other words, our main focus is the fabrication of automotive performance parts, but we love fabricating and getting creative with some steel, tungsten and argon, and once in a while create something special on request, other than manifolds, downpipes and exhausts...
These steps were made from 316 stainless steel and balau wood for a 21.50ft Panache with a 225 Yamaha VMAX. The old ones kept on breaking, and lets face it, was just not esthetically pleasing at all... Style AND substance, no compromise!
Keep your charge airs constant and enable your GTi to consistently make more power with our Polo 1.8T 20valve GTi front mount intercooler and boostpipe kit.
If you want to make more power with your 1.8T Polo GTi, an uprated intercooler and properly designed boost pipes are an absolute must. The factory intercooler is just too small and the placement promotes little to no airflow for the cooling demands under high boost conditions.
This baby with software, downpipe and an Electig Eel intercooler- and boost pipe kit produces a healty 155kW.
