🧬Today marks the 71st anniversary of James Watson and Francis Crick's landmark discovery of the DNA double helix structure in 1953. This unlocked a fundamental secret of life and revolutionized biology.

🛣 However, the incredible journey to Watson & Crick's understanding of DNA involved the dedication of many brilliant Scientists before and after their breakthrough - from the isolation of nuclein (now known as DNA) to developing PCR to amplify DNA.

🧪CPGR celebrates World Science day for Peace and Development. The theme for 2023 is 'Building Trust in Science'. UNESCO declares that this initiative highlights the importance of science in society and in our everyday lives.

This is week is recognized as World Quality Week by CQI | The Chartered Quality Institute. This is a global campaign aimed to raise awareness of the quality management profession and focuses on the theme for this year: "realising your competitive potential". This theme highlights the competitive advantage organizations have if an effective quality system is implemented.
