We love putting together a custom build and when one of our legendary customers asks for an equally legendary build the boss man .coram brought this beast to life.

The frameset is our S-Works Epic 8 with 120mm of suspension front and rear coupled with TwistLoc remote lockout. The drivetrain is SRAM’s indestructible XO Transmission groupset with a Quarq spindle power meter, with Shimano XT braking providing plenty of stopping power. ⚙️

We slotted in a One-Up Components 180mm dropper seatpost topped with a Specialized Power saddle and a 35mm Roval Control handlebar and stem combo for a stiff cockpit that can take anything thrown its way. 🛴

Lastly we got the bike rolling with a pair of Roval Control wheels wrapped with a Fast Trak control on the front and a Renegade grid on the rear to handle the local trails without worry. 🛞

Introducing the new lightest alloy XC dual suspension frame, the Specialized Chisel, with 120mm front suspension and 110mm REAR!

Available in two options, the Chisel Shimano (R49 000) and Chisel Comp Shimano (R59 000), equipped with Shimano Deore and SLX respectively, Shimano brakes, Rockshox suspension, TranzX dropper, and a pair of Specialized hoops laced to Shimano hubs wrapped in a Ground Control front and Fast Trak rear tyres.

The comp weighs in at 12.86 kg without pedals, lighter than some of our competitors carbon dual suspension bikes!

Last weekend our store ambassador took on one of the most prestigious races on the global gravel calendar, as part of the circuit.

Hayley came away with 27th overall in a time of 11:06:23 for the 324km, moving her up to 7th in the Life Time Grand Prix rankings.

It’s great to see our name represented in the US and on the global gravel circuit and we wish Hayley the best for the next few Life Time races!

Our store ambassadors had a busy start to the local gravel season over the last month, culminating in last weekend where took the win in the women’s field and secured 4th in the men’s race.

Hayley also secured a 3rd place at gravel nationals , and will be taking on this weekend as part of the series!

Introducing: The new SRAM Red AXS

Focusing on reducing weight the new AXS groupset is the lightest electronic groupset yet at 2649g in its lightest permutation.

Slimmer shifters with more powerful braking and customisable buttons, and a shifter, caliper and brake hose save 83g from the previous generation!

The rear derailleur features larger pulley wheels with ceramic bearings, while the front has been slimmed and sped up providing more accurate shifts, and an auto trim function eliminating chain rub.

The new rotors are quieter and add to the increase in braking power, and the drivetrain has also been optimized to reduce wait while maintaining longevity and stiffness.

We can’t wait to put together our first bike with the new groupset!

The new Torch Lace Up takes the fundamental shape of the Torch with dual BOA mechanisms apart from the upper and tongue which uses 6 eyelets, meaning 6 points of adjustment for a secure fit with good distribution of pressure.

The carbon sole and heel cup construction remain the same, also implementing the wider forefoot construction debuted in the Torch. Each shoe saves 60g from the 7 lace up, and 38g from the boa Torch!

Retailing at R6500 with limited stock we believe these are a great addition to our shoe range.

Hayley came away with 1st place in the elite women’s time trial with an average speed of 43.3 km/h over the 33km course on Friday.

On Saturday Hayley managed to come away with 2nd place in the road race too, narrowly missing out on her second jersey for the weekend in a sprint finish after breaking away in Suikerbosrand nature reserve.

There are some small tweaks to the pattern and adjustment to the fit - please note that the cut is slightly different, so your sizing may have changed! The bibs are no longer unisex and they come in a male/female specific design.

To say we’re proud of the next generation Tarmac would be a massive understatement. It eclipses the 2020 Venge as the most aerodynamic road bike we’ve ever made, the chassis is over 200g lighter than SL7, and it improves upon the same handling characteristics from the tried-and-true Tarmac.
