Looking back at Bidii Yetu 2023 🚵‍♀️🚩

Wow, we cannot believe that it has been a year since Bidii Yetu 2023, travelling across five countries to raise funds to assist people with disabilities in the countries that they passed through.

We feel so honored that we were able to join and provide our support during their journey through Southern Africa for such a fantastic cause.

We want to thank Olaf and his team at Bidii Yetu for organizing such an amazing tour and the continued work they do to raise awareness and help others. 🙌

Cape Town Comes Close to the Top
This week the city of Cape Town was voted the fourth-best large city in the world in the Condé Nast Traveller’s 2023 Reader’s Choice Award.
The annual award also placed Cape Town seventh best city overall, ahead of Sydney and behind Singapore in 3rd place, San Sebastián in Spain in 2nd and Victoria in Canada at the top spot.
“On pristine beaches, penguins waddle about their business while leaping dolphins frame spectacular sunsets,” according to Condé Nast.
Penguin watching and riding to the top of Table Mountain are among the favourite activities for people on the Cape Town leg of the 12 Day Epic Enabled tour.

EPIC LION SPOTTING
There are estimated to be over 1 500 lions in the Kruger Park making it a great place to see lions in their natural habitat.
The road from Satara Camp to Skukuza is a popular place to spot lions during our tours.
“99% of the time we see lions around these camps and on that stretch of the road,” says Alfie Smith, Epic Enabled’s owner and guide.
“We have seen a lot of lions on our last few tours,” he said.
