"Our annual training conference for 2024 was successfully held in the Prester John room at the Novalis Ubuntu Institute. This room is separate to but leads onto the main area where lunch and teas were enjoyed by our members. This setup worked very well for us from the point of view that the training sessions were undisturbed by the busyness of our caterers. The centre is well equipped with tables, chairs and heaters which were professionally setup for us before the event, and the kitchen is well stocked with crockery and cutlery for hire at very affordable prices. The technology provided by the centre for our presentation worked well. The building itself has a character-filled architecture and needs some maintenance and repairs in order to offer its full potential, but the space worked for us and the friendliness and responsiveness of the staff at the centre helped to make the day a success for our members. Thank you!"

Amandla Development is an NPO that aims to empower Philippi youth with equal access to quality education. They work towards breaking the cycle that keeps young people trapped generation after generation. Children in Philippi Township, Cape Town, South Africa, face brutal poverty. Housing is haphazard, opportunities are scarce, and HIV infections claim one in three young women.

It really is true that sound has the most potent and immediate effect on us, opening us to aspects of our being we are not always aware of as we go about the daily activities of our lives. The waves of sound and vibrations of the gong are particularly powerful in inducing a holistic resonance in the body, resulting in a sense of expanced awareness and wholeness.
