On the 8th of August 1963, Shackleton MR.3
1718 took off from Cape Town. Severe weather
conditions saw the captain diverting from the
scheduled coastal route, opting to fly inland to
Port Elizabeth instead. Twenty minutes after
takeoff, before it crashing into Stettynskloof
mountains, the last transmission from the
Shackleton was received. None of the 13 members survived the crash. These superb wines are dedicated to the members and their families. Come on Wednesday 21st and 28th to taste these at a carafe.
