C 2 // WIP : Taking inspiration from a trip to Brazil, this laid back modernist villa, sweeps and invites one up - to a simplified living space which blurs the lines between interior and exterior.

Light, nature and a neutral palette overlap to offer the user a relaxed African escape, woven between the diasporic storylines of client and architect.

I L I W A // K 20 :: our submission for a local design competition

Aptly named ‘rock’ ; Iliwa stands firm in its context, inspired by the mountain which forms its backdrop.

The courtyards - both below and above ground; dominate plan and section, providing the user with a constant connection to light and nature.

Interiors, by GSQUARED, juxtapose the raw architecture with softer forms, natural materials, and reflective surfaces expanding the verdant courtyard - maximising light and space.

M 24 // Step into this remodeled apartment and experience the fusion of eras, where the 70s meet the present in a dance of design and sophistication.

Inspired by the iconic design elements of the 70s, we embarked on a mission to infuse every corner of this space with the spirit of that golden era.

The result? A harmonious blend of sleek lines, bold colors, and avant-garde patterns that pay homage to the mid-century aesthetic while offering a contemporary twist.
