Excited to be a part of the womanโs day luncheon hosted by and .evolving
Itโs been a while ๐
but canโt wait to join a former passionate student of mine, discussing important topics
Our family is headed into a very blessed next chapter
We are excited and preparing for our little oneโs arrival
I will be taking some time away from the practice to adjust, nurture, and love this baby, new family dynamic and body of mine
As a result, I will be on maternity leave until August/September, but as always, looking forward to the new client journeys upon my return
Keep warm this winter and always remember to make your mental health a priority
Itโs been quite the year
I am so thankful for such a wonderful year and that I could have met so many new clients
May this festive season be a blessing to you and your families
I look forward to a great 2024 after some rest and family time

10/10/23 - Mental Health Awareness Day
I had the privilege of taking a break a couple of weeks ago. Completely switched off, essentially did a social media cleanse and a โdeviceโ break.
This made me soak up the calm and be more present in the moment.
It was made clear to me again, how important mental health and taking time for yourself truly is.
Put yourself and your mental healthy first, the benefits will be endlessโฆ
How often do you check in on friends or family members?
Most of us do this quite often
But the question is, have you taken a moment today or in this week to just check in on yourself?
We neglect to do these self check-ins. These could be short or maybe even longer reflections - as long as you do it.
Prioritise time in your schedule
Breath
Drink a cup of tea/coffee
THINK
CHECK IN
Enjoy a lovely weekend
Sometimes it could be wise to take notes from a 9 year old

The time has come to end off sessions for 2022
It has been a good year - but for me to be the best therapeutic version of myself next year, I will take this time and rest well.

It might not feel like it everyday, but thatโs okay. Every victory is exactly that, no matter how small
Keep going, donโt give up.
That backslide now and then is not the end, you are still further along than you were the day you started the journey
Take a moment
Be more aware of you, your mind, your body, your feelings
Do frequent self check-ins and reach out to someone close or a mental health professional if you need a little support
It shows so much strength to say but youโve got it (alone or with some assistance )
As the end of the year is approaching; for many this means changes are coming, decisions should be made, exams are upcoming and the year end frenzy is looming
But never forget to look up at the stars, dream dreams, set goals and keep going

Do not get despondent if you feel your actions go unnoticed. Somewhere, your actions may have an impact on another, perhaps not in your immediate environment.
Sometimes we are looking for words or comments but it is important to take note that acknowledgment may come in the form of smiles, a coffee or some non-verbal cue.
Which ever way, notice the quality of what you are doing and the impact you know it is making.
