ART Consulting Enterprise (Pty) Ltd were the appointed Consulting Civil Engineers on a road upgrade from Gravel to Paving in the Free State Province. The road is approximately 448m long, and had to be “weaved” between existing dwellings. The road is about a month away from practical completion. Services provided were the pavement design, road geometrics, site supervision and minor culvert designs.

ART Consulting Enterprise (Pty) Ltd, was appointed to provide an engineering solution to structural cracks visible on a classroom’s walls and floor.
During the works, it was discovered that rubble was used as backfill under the raft slab. It was evident that subsidence had taken place over the years, resulting in the structural cracks.
This is a typical example of why rubble is not an option for backfill, especially under buildings and structures.

While conducting assessments in some of the most remote areas within the Mthonjaneni Municipality, ART Consulting Enterprise (Pty) Ltd came across a very motivated and innovative woman. With a home made weaving machine, uGogo Msweli hand makes traditional grass mats which she sells to support her family.

My field of work has taken me to some of the most extraordinary places in our country that will not be visited by many, which gives you the opportunity to witness how simple life can really be – a humbling experience!

ART Consulting Enterprise (Pty) Ltd, has been appointed for Stages 5 and 6, to carry out the Civil and Structural Engineering aspects of the refurbishment to the Tshepong Hospital and Klerksdorp Hospital located within the North West Province.

ART Consulting Enterprise (Pty) Ltd, is proud to have been assisting the lead Civil and Structural Engineering Consultant during the detailed design and construction stage of the civil engineering works, for the new Cato Ridge Private Hospital, located in Cato Ridge, Kwa-Zulu Natal. This included the Sewer and Stormwater reticulations, as well as the Roads, Vehicular Accesses and Car Parks. The hospital was officially opened on the 20th April 2020, and currently caters for 54 beds.
