An important moment for Academia is just around the corner: the webinar "Spin Your Brain (for good!)", held by Sheila Thelen, will take place on Thursday 15 September at 06:00pm (CEST).

During this course, Sheila Thelen (Master Figure Skating Coach & President of Vestibular Training Services) will be demonstrating how applying 30 years of world class sports training tools/vestibular to professionals and the general public. Sheila will describe her work with professional athletes & post concussion & NASA & children with autism & the aging population. Her spinning platform & harness system is AMAZING TO WATCH/LEARN! Very interesting applications for the vestibular system for: balance, cognitive & non spatial disorientation.

Learning Outcome:
broader understanding of rehabilitation of the vestibular system with innovation & application in multiple populations.

📌On February 24, at 6:00 pm (CET), will take place the webinar “Menière Disease and Vestibular Migraine: two disorders on the spectrum?”

🔎Menière’s Disease (MD) and Vestibular Migraine (VM) are the 2 most common episodic vertigo.
Diagnosis of both disorders are based on clinical history and on an audiometric exam showing, in MD, a sensorineural low frequencies hearing loss.
At onset, differential diagnosis is often a puzzling dilemma, considering that around 50% of MD subjects are also migraineurs and VM patients, in many cases, report cochlear symptoms during attacks.

📖Recent works propose that according to phenotypes and comorbidities, MD could be differentiated in subgroups, each presenting peculiarities for onset and evolution, MD with migraine among them. Other authors proposed a similar work for VM patients.

🗣In this webinar, Dr. R. Teggi examines clinical and etiological conditions, commonly shared.
