"It was a total wow moment for me as the place matched the pictures online...so that was a positive. The staff are friendly, the rooms are spacious and very comfortable, neat...it's has that very homely feeling to the rooms...the only thing missing would be a stove and you could live there PERMANENTLY, but there is no need for the stove because they have a kitchen that serves good tasting food and depending on how you booked your breakfast could be included in your stay...which makes life so much easier for a traveling person. I was truly impressed with the set up and can't wait to visit again...to spend time in the whirlpool bath! The owners make it their duty to speak to the guests to ensure we are having a good stay. I love the vintage alongside our modern-day style. You won't go wrong booking a stay here. 5 stars ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐"

Hey there, it's Suzette, the proud owner of Villa Le View and a mom to three amazing kids (all AMAZING moms), and now, blessed to be a grandmother to the most beautiful grandkids! 😊 With the hustle and bustle of the school year fast approaching, I know just how chaotic mornings can be. Trust me, I've been there, rushing to get everyone ready, packing lunchboxes, and making sure homework's done, and it's only normal that someone remembers they need supplies for their school project that's due today! But over the years, I've picked up a few tips and tricks that have helped make the back-to-school transition a little smoother.

Meal Prep: Sunday afternoons are dedicated to preparing snacks and lunchbox items. Pre-cutting veggies, portioning out snacks, and packing lunch ingredients in containers makes mornings a breeze.

Balance is Key: I always aim for a balanced lunch. There should be a protein (like ham/chicken or cheese), fruits or veggies, a small treat, and a bottle of water / juice. This keeps my kids energised and focused throughout the day.

Get Them Involved: My kids always felt more excited about their lunches when they had a say in what went in them. So, I include them in planning and making choices for their lunchboxes.

Stay Organised: Designate a shelf or an area in the fridge and pantry for lunchbox items. It makes it much easier to grab what you need.

Plan for Treat Days: We have special 'treat days' when I add a little extra something in the lunchbox - a mini cupcake or their favorite cookies. It's all about balance, right?

And being a mom is tough. Left-overs and Tuckshop money never killed anyone!!! You just do the very best you can, with what you have on your budget.
